Very fresh, Very flavorful and Very courteous!!!! I had concerns about the saltiness of their blackened as some make it so... salty you cannot eat it. One of their chefs came and gave me a sample to taste it first and then came back out to check if mymeal was too salty. Not only was it not to salty but extremely delicious. Even though the sides that came with my meal didn't taste good to the point that I didn't eat them I still was going to give a... decent review. I ordered ribs and they were good. Others in my party had burgers which they said were good. However I left outbefore my husband to go to the restroom and make a call. While gone our waitress asked my husband for a higher tip...I foundthat to be really inappropriate. He said he tipped her but she came and spoke to him about it because it wasn't the recommendamount. He said he felt uncomfortable, apologized and gave her more money. I didn't like that all. It was already done so Ididn't make a big deal, but our food and service wasn't that great. We weren't a large party and other than our actual order wedidn't even ask for anything or get checked on where a larger tip would be warranted. Max helped my friend and I tonight and he was super down to earth and understanding! We had a lot of questions and he answered... each one with no hesitation. The drinks are too good not to get. This neighborhood restaurant has friendly staff and good food. They have wall opening cover by roller blind so when raised, you... feel like dining outdoors. The pricing is reasonable and good value, especially their Monday night prime rib deal. You get soupor salad, one side and the slow roast prime rib (nice portion too). The key lime pie is fantastic with crunchy, almost cookylike crust, a must try. Read more
