These are the laziest, most full of it people I've ever seen working at any Pollo Tropical. The line in the drive through was... backed up at 820p on Tuesday, November 1st. At 823pm, parked and placed a pickup order instead of waiting in line. At this time,there was no one inside. I went up to the door, and it was locked. I knocked on the glass door and a girl working inside wavedme away. Finally, after a few minutes,she came to the door and asked what I wanted. She said they were closed and to go throughthe drive through to get my pickup order. It was not even 9pm, and myself and another customer standing outside with me ,both ofus told her we wanted our pickup orders. After several minutes the manager came outside and told us they closed early and towait outside for our food. A girl then opened the door several minutes later after waiting a good while, waved us over thenslammed the door without saying anything. This Pollo Tropical used to be nice. It's gone way downhill. People cannot get anorder correct,rude ,on their phones all the time and cannot be bothered with customers. This is not the first time they haveclosed early and turned customers away. I hope corporate does a surprise inspection and finds out what's going on here. Read more
I like to leave good reviews whenever possible, but this place deserves zero stars. I watched 2 other cars leave the drive... through line before I did the same because it wasn't moving. I parked, went inside to order and watched as the crew moved at asnails pace or not at all. A few had time to joke amongst each other while accomplishing nothing. I left without buying. Read more
We visited Pollo Tropical at 6 pm on Sunday evening. We went through the drive up. We were rudely told by the worker taking the... order that the only sauce they had was bbq. 1 out of 5 sauces is all that is available!!??? And only corn and black beansavailable of the toppings. Pulling up to the window the rude order taker couldn't even get the meat requested correct as ourmeat was not as ordered. When we got home we had no sauce. So basically the worst ever experience, zero food available and topit off with rude employee. Where is the management and why is there no food available at 6 pm.??!! Read more
After 9 o?clock pm the line gets stacked up because the inside closes. On top of lazy employees who talk and play as if people... aren?t waiting on their food. Read more
As God as my witness, I will never visit this location again. Let me be clear, I love the food and Pollo Tropical. I think the... value you get is unparalleled for fast food. I just cannot tolerate how poorly this establishment is managed. The staff does notcare and moves around as if they are doing you a favor. There is no leadership whatsoever, and everything takes 3 times longerthan it should. I ordered online to try to avoid waiting extra long to get my food. I was instructed to not be any later than7:50 because they wanted me to have hot food. I showed up at 7:50 and it was not ready. I didn't get my food until after 8:20.When they asked me what I was waiting for and I told them my name, they picked my order up off the floor to fill it. No one waseven monitoring online orders. I would so love for Pollo Tropical corporate to care about the quality of their managers and thetraining they provided to their staff. The staff there are nicer than the other pollo tropical locations, but they still completely messed up my order so much so that... I couldn?t even eat my food. They forgot the sauce, the vegan meat I asked for, they forgot beans on two of the bowls I ordered,gave the wrong yuca (I asked for fried yuca and got the yuca cheese bites) and the key lime pie that was ordered was smushed up.I gave the yuca bites to my mother, and even she couldn?t finish them because of how dry and stale they tasted. Ordered the meal for 10. Waited 2hrs for food. The rice, corn, plantains, yuca and bread was either cold, stale or soggy...Not... even the worst part...inside the bucket of beans was a surprise ingredient, a sleeve of time stamp stickers.....this iscompletely unsanitary and disgusting!!! I know I didn't order stamps for my family and kids to eat for lunch. We got to take out at the drive up. They didn't have any plantains, so we ordered Yuca. It tasted like it had been reheated in a... microwave oven and we had to throw it away. The other side dishes were good and the chicken was good. They get 0 points forcustomer service and personality. Read more
