Visiting Cheddars for the first time in many years, since the location in Davenport closed a long time ago. It was just like we... remembered with yummy chicken tenders, croissants, and the Cookie Monster dessert. Service and food were both very good, and wealso liked the comfortable and somewhat quiet atmosphere. Will definitely visit again when passing through the area. Read more

Great food, great fast service. Had the salmon dinner and looked so good I ate half of it before taking the picture. Yum

My family stopped off here for a bite to eat after a martial arts testing. It was an enjoyable evening we got there about an... hour before closing and got any see if we wanted because it wasn't that busy. Six of us were there. I sat down and expectedyour standard flingers kind of atmosphere and tried to get in the mood for a burger. But then Mom noticed the salad and soupdeal which actually would get you either a salad or a soup and four sides! That was the winner. The soup was like a cheesepotato soup with bacon and chives and onions. Of course whenever you got bacon that makes it taste better and that didn'tdisappoint. It was thick and it was tasty. I got the red beans and rice with sausage bitlets. Also got the coleslaw and butteredcorn off the cob. My last side was the cheesy broccoli yeah that was great. As the drinks were brought out they also brought outenough rolls for each of us. The rolls were light and fluffy and Flaky on the outside. They had a grizzled kind of frostingglaze on the outside too. Fortunately two of the family was gluten free and couldn't have them and the other two just split oneso I got the remainders. Score! The food was great. The waiter was funny. It was a great evening. The coleslaw was good was itmy favorite but it was good. That was pure was neat to the entrance had sweet fan in the ceiling it was like one of those paddlefans and it had like eight or ten arms that was just kind of slowly spinning around circulating the air. Reminded me ofsomething I'd see in Casablanca. And best of all I had leftovers for the next day. Read more

First visit I've ever had with cheddar's and it's just ok. We waited about ten minutes to get a table. The service was pretty... fast and prompt. Food was just ok, the pasta on my dish was very limp and overcooked but the taste overall wasn't terrible. Thething that wasn't great were the dirty glasses we got with our drinks, they had a light residue on them and little bits stuck onthe outside of the glass. Our refill glasses were clean though. There was a lot to like and not so much about Cheddar's. The not so great was greasy floors, the dishwasher leaving the... silverware looking dirty, and the table was sticky. Overall cleanliness isn't their strongest attribute. My wife had Mangolemonade and I had raspberry lemonade both were fine. My wife and I then started with the Wisconsin cheese bites which werereally good. Lightly battered and a little greasy but tasty none the less. My wife ordered the Monte Cristo, she had noted thebatter was light and fluffy. She really enjoyed it. I had the steak and half a rack of ribs. I ordered the steak medium and itsurprised me that it was cooked right the first time. Steak can be had to get cooked right the first time. The steak seasoningwhich I liked but probably not for everyone. The ribs smelled smoky and tasted good. The BBQ sauce on the ribs was nice, not toosweet or spicy. Lastly we had ordered the famous monster cookie. That was divine. Fresh baked cookie, ice cream, hot fudge, andwe had it without nuts but with 2 cherries. The atmosphere was on the louder side. The interior isn't bright but not dark.Seemed basic and outdated. The food was the star of evening, I just had this greasy/sticky feeling that I had the problem with.Go for the food but don't expect it to be the cleanest. Read more
