Had difficulty ordering online. I didn't know that they don't use the corporate app but have their own so I called in my order.... Things were great after that! Ordered a taco pizza with sour cream on the side which was done exactly how I ordered, I gotmyself a BLT pizza which has been my favorite for 35 years. I have only had it a few times, but it's just fantastic! I rolled upto get my food and everyone was having a great time at work, laughing and having fun which is so important on a holiday weekend.I wish it would have been a traditional eat in store, which is why I didn't give them 5 stars across the board but absolutely noreflection on job performance. Extremely disappointed in the quality of the pizza. It's a carryout/delivery only place. Not good enough to stand alone on the... pizza without the classic pizzeria atmosphere. Read more

Tonight, I had my first pizza from the North Liberty location. Sausage pizza. It was perfect, lots of sausage, crisp crust, and... tasted just like the Happy Joe's pizza I first had in the mid 70's. I'm originally from the quad cities, so I've had 100s ofthese pizzas. Read more

So disappointed. I would much rather be offering kudos and happy reviews. Ordered a large taco pizza. I will give props for... them being very quick to get it prepared for pick up. The service, however, was subpar - on phone and in person the employeeseemed bored and disengaged which is surprising for a brand new restaurant where you'd think they want to be welcoming andfriendly. The pizza had about 3 inches around the outside that was just flat (or bubbled) charred crust with zero toppings andthe rest had sparse toppings with barely had any meat, tomatoes, or lettuce. Crust was literally like cardboard. Barely anyflavor. For $30 I was truly hoping for the Happy Joe's taco pizza I remember from Davenport and the old Iowa City location.Nothing like that. UPDATE: received an immediate response from owner apologizing and stating they wanted to make it right.Quick to make promise, but no follow through. Provided me an email address. I emailed and never heard another word. Lip serviceat its finest. No reply necessary at this point.. Read more
