Last Saturday and Sunday the Tropicana lemonade tasted like lemon water to me.
I have recently quite eating at there deli entirely, due to bad food done different each time I visit. And the service is not... good at all the breakfast cooks are lazy, deep fried homefried potatoes and bacon also deep fried, can't cook eggs to save therelives. Totally different at ever other hy- vee than The new one in North Liberty, The cooks need to take some pride in theirwork or the deli manger needs to be a supervisor and take responsibility for what is happening in the kitchen, will never eat abite of food from the deli again.Been a hy vee fan for over twenty something years.Best breakfast is gone for good.And thechicken has fallen off, pre breaded frozen chicken and all tast like it. Sometimes you put too much science in food and take outthe homestile and it shows in the flavor and what your deli case looks like. Old and not very eye appealing. Could go onforever but won't just let you know You have now lost another customer along with number more that ask me where to go for foodwhich is often. Since I am a chef and own a restaurant. Super disappointed tonight. Ordered an $11 sushi roll, that in the past when I ordered, it was fresh. Tonight it was a roll that... had been on the shelf, with a ?Best if Used by 7:26pm.? I went for the Hibachi grill and when I say it was good, it was amazing. So delicious ????
Dirty cafe, untrained workers, Luke warm coffee,runny eggs.
First week of business and both times visiting have been great. Fast friendly service, fresh food and large clean dining... area. 1/20/2021 They still have great food and service. I'm disappointed though that they are getting rid of their big saladbar that Hy-Vee's are known for everywhere. I understand during covid and all but going forward they are not going to bring itback from what I understand. Read more
Jerri is the best. Matt the manager is super knowledgeable about beer and takes the time to talk, even though he's always busy.
Nice atmosphere for a HyVee. Bathrooms are a ways away from the eating area though. They didn't have a salad bar when we were... there. Not sure if that's normal for this store but I also didn't see the equipment for a salad bar. Read more
