This restaurant is average. The food was average, nothing really amazing, but nothing horrible. We had a group of 5 and the... tables are very small. Our table was piled full of dishes half the time because no one would pick up the empty plate or glassesuntil we had to literally hand the stack to the staff. Once we got our bill it totaled over $100 for apps, main and 3 drinks for2 of us. Which I don?t mind-if it was a decent meal with good service. I love Konomi, they serve amazing sushi sushi is my favorite food! It?s my favorite restaurant of all times! I highly recommend... the White Russian roll, the IDK roll, and the salmon or shrimp tempura roll. Those are my favorite rolls, but they have lots ofgood rolls. The wait to get a seat was perfectly acceptable. The two hours it took to get our meal was pathetic. Waitress was very kind and... apologetic but it was clear management should have either limited seating people or ran the kitchen much better. This is a quaint little restaurant with an unassuming interior. I had the oxtail ramen and green tea mochi. First off, let me... say that the mochi stole the show. It was excellent. The Ramen was okay, but it was difficult to get all of the flavors to meld.The bamboo and green were large cut and not easily integrated into the dish as a whole but had excellent flavor. The oxtail,noodles and broth were independently bland as much Japanese food can be. I felt if all of the flavors could have been easilymixed, the dish would have eaten more cohesively. Read more

Me and my husband went here for Valentine's Day. And I absolutely love it! Their sushi and food is so good!! I really like the food here specially the fried rice made at hibachi grill and customized sushi. But I am somewhat disappointed... with the service. Usually hibachi is all about the show put up (skills) put up while preparing your food in front of you on agrill and they are not that good at it. But still it is a good place if you want to try hibachi grill.and if you are a party ofmore than 4 people you might get a private table otherwise you?ll end up sharing the table with strangers. I don?t eat seafood,beef & pork and last time when I went to konomi I was seated with others and they ordered steak! I told the chefs to make surehe does not mix the knife and spatula but he did which was very disappointing.
