There pizza is great so as there service. The single serving pizza tasted the best. The seating area was casual and nice.
Customer service was okay. Waitress was rude and forgot to bring one of our drinks. We ordered pasta and pizza. The pizza... didn’t have sauce on it even though we ordered it with sauce. The pizza also had a super thick layer of cheese. JUST CHEESE.The pasta was over cooked super crunchy and tasteless. $5 cocktail in that location is pretty fair. Dude did the shaky shake with the stainless steel thing too. Honey hot breadsticks... were delicious I'll go back just for them. Worst pizza I have seen in my life. $16 for this burnt“ Ode to Detroit”. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves charging... that for a child’s size pizza. Take Detroit’s name out of your mouths……….. (response to owners) you changed thedescription of the pizza after this incident. When i ordered it, it said nothing about a 6x6 on the website. The fact that youthink its appropriate to charge $16 for such a little child’s size pizza is reason enough to never come back to this place.Got even more of a reason for the fact it was burnt. I stopped in for happy hour, and the deal sounded amazing. 2 for 1 wine pours and $6 cheese pizza. She said you add an... ingredient for $1.00, which is also a great deal. When the bartender brought the pizza out, she said that the ingredients slidto The other side. I said no problem…but when I picked it up, it was the floppiest pizza I’ve ever had. I asked if it wassupposed to be this way (knowing it wasn’t), and she said that wood fired pizza was like this. Then, she offered to re-fireit. I said it was fine, but she said she would do it anyways because I believe she saw my dismay. The second pizza came outworse. The flavor was amazing. But.. the bartender response was inaccurate. My brother is the head chef in Chicago at a woodfired pizza joint. Not to mention, a 2 for 1 wine deal turned out to be not a deal at all if each glass is $14. You might aswell walk 10 feet away to Winestyles to have amazing wine at $7 a glass for happy hour. Overall… there is no reason to comeback.
