Love the beers, but they also have great food! I love medium rare burgers, and it's hard to find anywhere that will cook them... to med-rare, but Reunion does, AND, they did an awesome job of it! I also love their cheese curds, they are awesome! Read more
Of course the beer is good, and the staff friendly (thanks Alex!), the surprise is the exceptional kitchen. Consider trying the... curds and fried jalapenos (about the size of fried okra bites), without the curds (the Pain Basket!). It breaks my heart that this place does not have 5 stars! Beer is good, food is great! Tried garlic and buffalo wings, fish and... chips, kickin' chicken pizza (and calzone), all are delicious! Tank puncher IPA is really good. Cursed angel black IPA, ElectricBanshee Stout, Juice factory pale ale are also great choices! Rotating beers are always good. Bartenders are very kind andhelpful. We have a favorite bartender, whose name we never got, but he always suggests us the beers that we might like, and wereally do! He is great! Oh, and there is always very nice music in the background. Great selection of drinks and foods. We were bit lost on the menu and having hard time deciding what to get. Finally had a... fulfilling brunch with kickin fiesta burger and classic cuban mojito. There are different type of sitting arrangementsincluding outdoor patios. During the weekend or Friday night it's bit crowded inside. Great food and beer. Edit 2021: we have been living in Iowa City nearly 3 years by now. After trying most of the places, I... believe this is the most underrated place in town. They brew some of the best beers with a variety addressing different tastes.The food is one of the best in town, we tried most of the dishes by now and never disappointed. My favorite dishes are buffalochicken pizza, brisket and pretzels. Read more
I can?t tell you much about their prices because I went to ReUnion Brewery because my company was meeting there. I arrived early... and ordered a beer. It cost me $5.00 for a 20 ounce draft. A little pricey. Aside from that, the grounds were clean and free oftrash. The inside was nicely decorated with plenty of televisions for your sports-viewing pleasure. There was a great spot forsitting outdoors if you are into that or interested in giving it a shot. Most importantly, the staff was VERY attentive and myglass never had a chance to become empty without a refill waiting! Impressive. I?m not from Coralville, but if I return, Iwould gladly go back to ReUnion Brewery! Read more
