The employee didn't understand what we were asking for. Asked for mayonnaise the employee walked into the back, grabbed a... bottle, came back and applied it to the sandwiches. It wasn't mayo it was ranch. Read more
1st shift lunch (12-1) - Lead/Manager knows what he is doing but has help that doesn't understand english entirely and doesn't... understand the register. I visited this location in late January and had this same issue. I decided to wait and see if the womanwould get more efficient after time/training and haven't seen any improvement. The sandwich was good, but the inefficiencieswith language, slow pace and issues with operating the register were below satisfactory. I really hope this location makes theproper changes soon. Just had a really awesome experience here and wanted to give my story :) Imagine, you have to figure out something quick to feed... about 12 people in 15 minutes! You have had such a long and busy day you didn?t have time to order pizza or anything else andthe day before was equally as busy so there was no way to plan a meal a head. You go to Hy-Vee thinking ?hey maybe they have ameet and cheese tray ready? you ask the guy at the deli counter if they have anything like that ?you would have to order it, butthere are pre-packaged trays over in the packaged meet and cheese section? so you run back to quickly take a look... it?s apitiful tray that wouldn?t feed a small family. So you run to Walmart hoping to find SOMETHING!!! Nope. Again you run to thedeli counter to ask and yet again, you have to order it a head of time... then running out of options you think ?subs... Iwonder if subway would make some simple subs I could take!? Let me tell you, the guy Mark who helped me at the counter wasamazing! He was so thoughtful and actually CARED about me and the fact that I was frantically looking for a way to feed a groupof 12. He called his manager John and they got me taken care of fast!! The guy that helped me was super nice and efficient. My only issue is that he was playing his music in the kitchen, loudly, and... was very inappropriate for the workplace. I shouldn't be hearing the N word and loads of cussing when getting a sandwich. Read more
