Tavern Blue is the hottest spot in Coralville! I love trying all of the local craft beers. Our favorite items on the menu are... the pizzas, the black bean burger, the coconut shrimp, and the pork tenderloin. Mini golf was a fresh, creative idea, my familyand I had an amazing evening! Read more
Wonderful open space, love that our family could spend hours here and enjoy eating, drinking, and playing games. Servers were... very attentive and caring, food came out delicious, my favorite is Neapolitan pizza, my wife loved their double bun tenderloin,and of course my daughter found her new favorite Mac and Cheese?the entire environment is so open and inviting, it does not feellike Iowa, rather in the big city near a beach somewhere with all these boats and beach theme. We went here on a Saturday afternoon before a night Hawkeye football game. We ordered pretzel bites and spinach dip, with beer.... The food was good, pretty standard bar appetizers. It seemed like the food is either prepared before hand or shipped in premadeand frozen as our spinach dip was a bit watery like it had just been thawed. It was still pretty good though. The wait staff wasnice and helpful. The place was nice, clean and easily navigated. We did meet the owner who came up to talk with us as we weresitting at the bar eating and drinking. He was very nice and pleasant. The place itself looks like fun as they have jet skis asbenches and mini golf through boats and other games and things to do. This is a great place to bring kids.
