Not sure what was going on tonight (10.27.22) got there around 6:45pm and the hostess was taking a table's order and before... seating us and the party of one before us she put in the order, also she had her Bluetooth headphones on so how well was sheeven listening to her work surroundings? Once we got sat we did get service in less than 5 mins but after our order was put init's as if we were forgotten and that's when everything went downhill. We asked for a steak cooked medium and got a rare oneinstead, we had our steak split in half and I ended up asking for mine well done and when it was brought out again it still wasbloody. The cooks need to be trained on how to properly cook steaks. The manager who was on the shift was very understanding andtook care of us but our server seemed to be having a rough night which is why I think she wasn't as attentive as a server shouldbe and she also forgot my fiance's second drink. So all in all we were expecting exceptional service at this location being thatit's in Hyatt but we ended up being disappointed. Proceed with caution. Read more

Food tasted really good - I got the Seafood Linguine. Service was poor - waited 40 minutes before anyone took my name or said... anything other then "hold on". Vahn was absolutely amazing - she is an amazing chef who came out and saw the growing line at thefront and took action. I cannot thank her hospitality enough. This restaurant needs more workers of her caliber andcommunication skills. Thank you so much, Vahn! Read more

Walked up to the hostess, and was instructed to wait. She would call me up. Waited for 35 minutes. Checked back in. She forgot... about me, and a couple others. Ok, whatever. Cool. I'm in no hurry. Got sat, looked at the menu, ordered a beer and a glass, ordered the NY strip, medium-rare, $35. Still okay. Service was alright. Had better. Had worse. Waited 5 minutes. Beer cameback. Dirty glass. Tried to wipe clean. Smudges and finger oils on the inside of the glass. Decided to drink from the bottleinstead. Food came out. Carrots and string beans were cold. Steak was medium-well, instead of medium-rare. Completely missedthe mark. Tough. Not really seasoned. Very disappointed. Cook, hostess, and wait staff need to find other lines of work. Getdrinks at the bar. Avoid the food. Overall, took 1 hr 45 min to finish this...experience. Hotel Manager Hannah is the onlyredeeming factor here. Read more

We like to stay at the Hyatt that's on airport at PIT when getting in late or leaving early. The hotel is nice. The restaurant:... not so much. Had eaten here on a previous stay, and expected it to be good. Instead, had two of the worst restaurantexperiences I've had in over a decade: a disaster of a breakfast, and an even more disastrous dinner. The problem isn't thewaitstaff; our servers couldn't have been nicer. The problem is the food: it's just awful. At breakfast: the biscuits were hardas rocks. The "over eggs" were overcooked to the point of being rubber. The "ciabatta bread" on the "BLT breakfast sandwich"was bland and stale. The "pork belly" on said BLT was like a piece of leather deep fried in week old fryer grease. We took afew bites and left most of it uneaten. But, we being slow learners, thought: well, maybe it was just because we were there forbreakfast on July 4, and it was a skeleton crew; an off day. So when we were leaving town, and staying at the airport again, wethought we'd get a bite for dinner. But we were cautious so we just tried a cup of the corn chowder first. Reader: it wasinedible. My husband likes a lot of salt on his food. This was too salty even for him. It had the texture and color of grapenut cereal left in the bowl overnight then reheated, and the flavor of salty cardboard. The waitress said: you don't like it doyou? I didn't even put in on the check because it's terrible. I'll bring you a bowl of the beer cheese soup. It's muchbetter! Reader: it was not better. We had also put in an order for a small Caesar salad which advertised house made dressingand croutons. "House made" in this case must mean "the cheapest brand of generic dressing and croutons sold at DollarTree". We paid our bill, left and ordered a pizza. Read more

Salmon was excellent and risotto cooked to perfection. Crab cakes were undercooked and tiny... Very disappointing considering... the price. Had to wait to be seated in an almost empty restaurant. Matthew at the bar is awesome and Polo Eric is the man. I'drecommend making the 3 mini crab cakes into 2 cakes and doing better with seating when there is plentiful room. Read more

Upon entry, we had several guests in front of us; no problem?as we were greeted kindly and very quickly. Though the restaurant... was noticeably understaffed, we had impeccable service and delectable dishes. Cinnamon was our server, and was very attentiveand kind; again, I must mention that the restaurant was understaffed. Still, we received high quality service. I ordered theherbed chicken and highly recommend. It arrived with asparagus and baby potatoes; the food was perfect temperature, chickenjuicy, savory potatoes, and asparagus grilled just right. Lovely experience from start to finish. Read more

Had both supper and breakfast here the following AM. Cheeseburger, fries, soda, and tip combine came to about $24. About what... I'd expect for a Hotel restaurant. Some pricier items on the menu too. Breakfast buffet (with drink, bacon, sausage, eggs, fruit, etc.) and tip about $21 - all you can eat. Staff was attentive and friendly. Good food, too! Read more
