The Food does not taste anything like Chicago. Only thing holds it weight in this place are the italian beefs plus it?s overly... priced without a side. The REAL Chicago food comes with fries and a can pop(yea i said pop). so my real Chicago Folks don?twaste your time. ???????? Look at the unprofessional response from the owner. Read more

Purchased 2 veg foot long sandwiches with cheese and chips recently. The food was fresh but it seems like a bit much to charge... comparable to meat subs when the bulk of the veg sandwiches are bread (a bit thick) and a pile of iceberg lettuce alongside 4roma size tomato slices with a few olives and bell pepper pieces. Have purchased the same sandwiches here before but the vegwere more evenly portioned. The staff were friendly and were tipped regardless. Read more

Kyle, Jarrad and I went to eat a sandwich here? Kyle said there?s no sandwich place that tops this one. Jarrad said he will... forever have this spot as his lunch break. I said let me buy another Joey O?s Italian no tomatoes and no oregano. 10/10 Read more

Way better than sub way. Best kept local secret. Overall, I feel like the quality is great and the customer service is... excellent. I've been coming here for 15 years. One thing passed down from the original owner is that ?they will always try tomake it right? give them an opportunity to fix any issues. No one's perfect. Read more

I am posting this because my husband couldn't because he had posted already, and a great review at that........ Then this... happened...... I had the police called on me... Let me explain why. Me myself, who I am, black man, 6 ft tall, deep voice, tattoos. Wife, brunette, very few tattoos, unfortunately for me, sitting in the car... I pulled into their parking lot in frontof their store, stepped outside to smoke a cigarette. Because my wife doesn't need cigarette smoke in the car, she's a recentstroke survivor. Talking to her, staying outside the car, let her order something from this establishment she wasn't feelingwell. Because we ordered there, 3 weeks ago. And thought the food was fabulous. So we were coming there again... I walked in,got the greatest greeting ever! Then proceeded on to the bathroom, past a middle-aged White guy, a grandma, and what I'm goingto assume, is the grandson. I went to the bathroom, walk back outside, got in the car, got the credit card, my wife's order, got back out of the car, and was going to walk back into the store. When the door was locked. At 8:00. I thought it was crazy, but didn't think too much into it. I did but I didn't let that be the reason at first. So since I already started thinking thatway, we took off to Taco Bell. While getting my food at Taco Bell, the police rolled up. Because they claimed I was beingsuspicious, doing just what I was doing outside the car like I explained. Walking past the people that were inside the store,I'm a FUGGIN THREAT. I was in there also with a black man. Doesn't matter if he was college educated or not, which he appearedto be to me. So I didn't understand why, until the police showed up. SO WHILE THE POLICE OFFICER, SAW/TALKING ME, GETTING OURFOOD, IN/FROM THE TACO BELL DRIVE-THRU WINDOW, TACO BELL EMPLOYEES WONDERING WHAT'S GOING ON, JUST BEING EMBARRASSED ALL THE WAYAROUND. I?ve been meaning to write for a while; my daughter served just thought you might like to try this.several sandwiches from Joey... O?s for a big event at her house. They were all delicious and everyone enjoyed them. The few leftovers came to my house. I had asection of the tuna sandwich later that evening. It was really soggy because the tuna had soaked into the bread. My suggestionis that cream cheese can be smeared onto the sliced bread before anything else is added. This would be a tasty barrier ( likethe way you might spread butter) and still keep the sandwich fresh. I just thought you might like to try this. Read more

First time trying Joey O?s and it was delicious! I got the ?Capone? on Italian bread. The atmosphere is very cool (Chicago... memorabilia galore!) and the tomato soup was AMAZING. They also have a great chip selection (better than potbelly?s and subway).Service was also great and friendly. I am surprised more people weren?t there. We will definitely be returning!! Read more

I am not sure how this place has stayed open so long. I reserved this review until after my 3rd visit which was today. The staff... was friendly and helpful 2 out of 3 visits. My second visits there were a bunch of young girls who didn't seem interested inhaving a job, much less helping customers. My issue lies solely with the food. I have tried 3 different subs hoping I would findone I liked. The bread is thick & tasteless. The food is BLAND with no taste. The turkey I buy at the Wal-Mart deli has moreflavor. I don't know what the issue is but I don't see how there are that many people with no taste buds who could stomach eating here on a regular basis. Sure the staff is nice but I don't eat somewhere for the employees! Read more
