I was absolutely shocked . I drove from elkin cause pics looked really freaking amazing and I love Hood fries. So 2 ate reg sub,... ff, drink, cost 43$ for subs like wow ok still worth it cause subs was slightly above average until got to middle and its cold,a Lil more upset but if fries are as for good as say still worth it but I thought they cut and like 5 guys served everyone freshff they were all ice cold and I counted 4 of every 10 was so hard they were too hard to chew. So 2 hr driving 1 hr both ways and43 bucks overall I was so excited about ff and so disappointed in what would say was just under half were literally impossibleto chew that the 5 bucks spent at bk for ff and 2$ burger was the better meal of the night and I really hate it cause I sowanted some really good ff Read more

Saw some other low reviews but thought I'd try it anyway. Maybe being the only customers made a difference. Sandwiches were... fresh and hot. Sub bread is superb. Fries were fresh and hot. Plenty of meat on my philly. I can see how a lunch time rushduring the week might create a backlog/delay, but it's not subway. Read more

I ordered from Penn Station for the first time today. Decided to give it a shot since our office is moving to Catawba Ave. I... will give them a two star rating, because I think they may have potential. First off, I ordered online so I could just grab andgo. I got to the place and my order wasn't ready despite receiving messages that it was. On top of that I had to wait an 30additional minutes while they helped other people to receive my order. I had two additional people on the order, I ordered acold cut salad. I asked for extra ranch since most places do not give you a lot. They failed to fulfill my request. Not abiggie, until I saw the amount of dressing I received. The normal sized dressing cup was half filled, if I'm paying 10 bucks fora salad I at least expect a full cup of dressing. The salad was sub par at best. I'm willing to give it another shot but this isthe first and last time I'll be getting a salad from here. I hope their fries and subs will win me over. Read more

This was our first time eating at a Penn Station and it was fabulous this evening. We were greeted by a young man named Weston... who was the manager on duty. He was polite, smiled and was very professional. He was informative when answering our questionsand gave great suggestions. We ordered the club, the chicken cordon Bleu, and the ruben along with fries and drinks. Thecashier, not sure of her name was just as nice and had a great personality and polite when delivering our food. The subs andfries were presented well, fresh and hot. We dined in and the restaurant was very clean and orderly. He even came to our tableand asked if we needed anything and how we liked our dinner. We will definitely be back. We use to frequent Penn Station often but hadn?t been in a while. Gave it a try tonight and it was fantastic. Fries were hot... and crispy! Sandwich?s were hot and cooked exactly as ordered. This was the worse sub and fries I?ve ever had. Sub was small, burnt and had no flavors. The fries were cold, burnt and just... terrible. If you can?t teach your cooks how to cook, get me in there Ill teach them! I spent over $20+ for a sub and fries and Iwant a full refund. I couldn?t even finish the fries, burnt to the crisp and nothing good about them. The sub was small, had notflavor and everything was over cooked and dry. I will never order from here again. So glad we found this place! The young man who waited on us was super polite, courteous and quick. We ordered and had our subs... and a fresh order of THE best fries in under 7 minutes. My chix parm and hubbies Italian mix were delicious. We both ordered thewheat roll...so good! The rolls are finished by baking them off as soon as you order. So they are warm and toasty and delicious! We were in around 7 on Thursday. Just want the young man who was working to get any credit as he was awesome. I just can'tremember his name. Read more
