Unexpected find while out looking for a late lunch spot. Right on the Main Street but with some outside tables under an overhang... into the parking lot. Enjoyed chicken corn chowder daily special. Good service and they even had a portable speaker with funmusic for the outside guests. Read more

Unassuming building. (Mostly) awesome food and drink. Super friendly service. Ginormous portions - consider splitting. Haddock... was delicious. Too many desserts to choose one ? definitely share. Spicy grapefruit margarita with salted rim was a winner.Brussels sprouts were fine, but nothing special. I?d go for something else like the burrata, which was very nice. Portobellomushroom sandwich wasn?t that great. Read more

We went there because my companion had received a gift card for Christmas, honestly had never heard of it before. One of the... best surprises I have had in a while. Our waitresses nicole( hope i spelled it right) was very cheerful and knew all the answersto our questions. We got 2 bloody marys to start. Fabulous is all i can say, mine with peppar vodka and a salt and pepper rim.The drink was so good i had to pace myself. Nice, refreshing and STRONG. My friend's was made with tequila, same as mine, tasty, refreshing and strong. We split the Wedge salad, it was big enough for us to do that. Lettuce was crispy, fresh, and heldup to the wonderful blue cheese, applewood bacon, tomatoes and the dressing. We ended up having to get the southwest rollupthat was one of the (specials of the day) to go. Well worth the trip and we can't wait for warmer weather so we can sit outside. The view is spectacular now, but im sure it will become better when spring and summer . *UPDATE * YEAH they will have a tent, outdoor seating, pergola soon. Outdoor seating until Columbus day. They are still waiting for approval from the town when theycan open. Read more

Krista?s is an unassuming looking building from the road, but when you go inside, it is a welcome surprise. We had lunch there... today and their daily homemade vegetable ?soup? was sensational. The soup was more like a hearty strew, laden with chunkyvegetables, and perfectly seasoned, exactly the type of restorative feed you need on a chilled Wintery day. If you sit at theback, the room with multicolored lanterns perched on the ceiling has beautiful views above the river and bridge. I ordered thePesto chicken sandwich which arrived at the table as a mountain of food piled high. It was all delicious and despite the largeserving sizes they did not skimp on the quality. The waitress said make sure to book reservations for dinner, I can see why. Weare looking forward to going back. Read more

I went to this place when I was passing through Maine to go to New Hampshire. I really really liked the coziness and the... delicious food they had. I didn't know this, but this place has mostly sandwiches, so order your food accordingly. Read more

A friend and I met two friends for lunch and a visit at Krista's. Even though the place was crazy busy we got seated promptly... upon arrival. Like so many other places Krista's is/was short-staffed. While placing our orders the waitress handling our tablewas paged to the kitchen. She handled the interruption very politely explaining the problem. Still our wait was notunreasonable. Once our orders were placed we got our food in a very timely manner. Two words to remember, GO HUNGRY. Theportions are huge. And the food is very good. Our orders were for a pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato fries, a chickensandwich with French Fries, a hamburger with French Fries and a salad topped with grilled chicken. None of us were able tofinish our food, again VERY generous portions of VERY good food. Even though Krista's was short-staffed when I was there, myfriends and I were in and out in a reasonable time. The only downside is the noise level was quite loud, but not so bad thatconversation was impossible. Read more
