Went for business dinner on a weeknight. The atmosphere was warn and inviting. Cathy the owner greets you at the door and even... remembers your name after not seeing you for a long time! Our waitress Sandra was delightful and very professional. She madea point to learn all our names. The food and the service were excellent. I has the linguini pescatore in an alfredo sauce andit was the first time I had such a flavourful seafood pasta dish. The bread was hot and fresh out of the oven, the salad and salad dressing was good. They never refilled our water or offered us... more bread. The chicken parmigiana was good, but definitely not the best. The sauce that I use at home tastes better to me.The portions are a little small, so if you?re a big person, you might end up walking out hungry. We were there early, shortlyafter opening at 4pm and there was not even one customer there, but they kept analyzing if they could seat us somewhere. Eventually they did because someone only had a reservation at 7pm. We didn?t want to sit there for hours - we just wanted toeat and leave. Read more
Such amazing food!! Truly a great experience.
I really hoped to be able to leave a fantastic review but we felt let down. The service was outstanding and we had little wait... time given it's a small restaurant and the size of the menu. But the food/drinks didn't match the price, especially forCornwall. The drinks were watered down. I'm a lightweight and usually feel one martini. Having 2, I didn't feel anything. Theywere tasty however. The food itself was good. Serving sizes for entree were medium - more what you'd expect for in-house madepasta/higher quality. Icky bread rolls that weren't refilled (1 each)and no butter. For $200, including tip, for 2 of us with ashared appetizer, it just was a mismatch over expectations vs food/drink quality. 1/3 lower price or better quality, this wouldbe a regular restaurant for us. A wonderfully warm atmosphere, friendly and professional service. The food was outstanding!! I have found my new favorite place... to eat. If you want an authentic Italian experience, and enjoy lovingly created food - this is the place for you. What a gem. My only regret is not going there before now. Read more
