Fabulous food. We got some takeaway while staying overnight on our way home to Québec. The service was very good both on the... phone and in the restaurant. The platter for two was generous and absolutely delicious. Fresh, quality ingredients in the salad,authentic seasoning on the souvlaki, creamy flavourful dressing, and mouthwatering potato. My family and I ate at the restaurant on September 24. It was some of the worst Greek food I?ve ever eaten. We started with the... spanakopita as an appetizer. It must have been sitting in a fridge or freezer and then reheated. It just tasted old and bland. Ihad the chicken souvlaki and that tasted reheated and was just some chicken with a ton of rice and some potatoes accompanyingit. Not good at all. My family each got a pizza which was also not well liked. I?m not sure how this restaurant has over 4stars, but I certainly won?t ever be going back. Also, the service was mediocre. On Aug 29, 2022 I was on business travel on my way to Montreal and stopped at Philos in Cornwall based on Google?s reviews.... Since I?ve been using this service I thought I?d contribute to it. The place was not busy at that time (late lunch). I orderedthe lentil soup and chicken oregano. The food was good. On the other hand, the service was not great: the waitress did not showinterest in her client, no questions asked during the meal and in the end the bill was thrown on the table and she neverfollowed up for payment. This place claims to be 'Greek' and maybe considering Cornwall for all of its worth - maybe it has a dash of Greek, but by no... means is it recommended. Went with several work colleagues and everyone was disappointed. Even something as simple as theirGreek potato didn't have the iconic half potato with lemon tang to it. They claimed to serve poutine which was realisticallyjust fries, gravy, and mozzarella. There's no harm in advertising like 'twisted-poutine' and saying what's in it, instead ofbeing monumentally disappointed. Especially considering some of the best poutine in canada is about an hour away in Montréal. Igot what was supposed to be Greek sausage, with Salad and poutine. And even the sausage wasn't marinated with tradional Greekflavour. The onky silver lining was the rice was flavoured as expected. We were hyped to find Greek food in Cornwall but werethen super disappointed by the food. Please do better by letting your customers know its wannabe-Greek food. Read more

I've been here twice and both times were excellent. Even during their busiest time, our waitress was attentive and friendly,... apologizing for the wait though it was not necessary given that it was clearly a packed house. The pork and chicken souvlakiplatters are well cooked and seasoned, their potatoes just right, their garden salad with their great house dressing was freshand crisp. Read more

We went for a dinner. I wanted a steak. I ordered NY steak 14oz and asked for medium rare cooking. It was cooked perfectly... medium rare and delicious, the sautéed mushrooms were excellent addition and also were delicious, the salad was fresh. Theservice was good too. With prices so low and quality so high it's crazy! Everything was prepared to perfection, the staff was welcoming and made this... a unique dining experience. I came from out of town for food and so happen to find this gem of a restaurant by luck! I amplanning on returning just because of the food being so amazing. Everything was mouth watering, tantalizing and you'll quicklyunderstand why this place is a gem! It's a two hour drive that I will be making frequently and it's well worth it.
