We stumbled upon this little place. We was greeted with a friendly hello at the door. The atmosphere was great and the food was... fantastic. We were surprised they knew where we were from. They were familiar with our little town of Odessa and we could talkabout our Kc Chiefs football, Royals and Missouri Tigers. We highly recommend giving this a try. It was simply delicious. Read more

Top shelf dining to say the least. Intimate dining, no reservations allowed, accommodating during the wait to be seated. Aside... from the food being carefully plated, ingredients personally selected, and local farm to table; the owners are the chefs and inmy experience, that says enough about the quality and dedication to presentation. The price is on par with quality of food. Thisis the place every foodie should try. I wish you all the best success and I hope to dine with you again. Looking forward to nextseason?s menu. Read more

Quite possibly the best eatery in the area and you are doing yourself a disservice if you don't stop here. This is a family run... place with great service, fresh ingredients, and a chef who knows good food. It's a quiet unassuming place in a strip mall butyou feel at home as soon as you walk in. The only possible knock is it only seats 30 and doesn't take reservations or party'sbut to me that's a bonus so the servers are attentive. 11/10 I ate here twice in three days and I wanted to go a third time. This used to be our favorite restaurant in Corolla. As a Corolla home owner, we used to eat here every time we came to our beach... home. We are aware of the policy of parties of 6 or less given the size of the restaurant. We came with my sister and brotherin law and their kids. And decided we would just sit separately from us so they could enjoy the restaurant that we loved somuch. We came early to make sure we could all eat at the same time. The manager refused to serve us because we are a family of10. But we are two separate families and did not ask to sit together. They would rather not serve us. This was verydisappointing and discriminatory. It is not their policy to serve families of more than 6. Even though there were no otherpatrons at the restaurant. They would rather have an empty restaurant than to serve us. We will never go there again. Read more

A cozy restaurant with a small carefully curated menu. The orange tea cocktail was refreshing yet flavorful. Rockfish was tender... inside with nice seasonings outside. Catfish appetizer was also delicious with hot tender fish inside a nice crunchy crust. It?sa small place so the wait may be long. If you live nearby you may consider putting down your number and return later. Read more

A great experience from beginning to end. We stumbled across this little restaurant tucked away in a shopping center. It's not... very large but there was enough room to be comfortable and socially distanced. The pork chop was the best I've ever had. Thegreen beans and tomatoes were unique and different from what I expected. There was a subtle sweetness from the tomatoes and aslight spicy kick from the seasonings and it paired well with the grilled chicken. Everything was fresh and everything wascooked perfectly. Dessert was just as elegant as dinner. The spice cake had the perfect blend of cardamom, Chinese 5 spice, andcinnamon. It was balanced by candied pecans and 2 sauces. The restaurant was clean and the servers were friendly and attentive.Only downside...they will be closing until February. Read more

Urban Kitchen deserves all the hype! Not gonna lie, I was a little hesitant to try it out (despite it having been on my radar... for a while) since it?s in a strip mall section next to the grocery store. But don?t let that deter you - the food and drink wasphenomenal, as was the service. There are not many seats inside so the earlier you go the better, especially since they do nottake reservations. Made for an enjoyable socially distanced vibe. I feel if they had curtains or something on the front windowsto obscure the parking lot views, it would only make it that much cozier. Read more

In the Outer Banks, this restaurant is simply not to be missed. An unsuspecting, tucked away, quaint locale offers locally... sourced, high quality food at an extremely reasonably price. As the restaurant is first come, first serve, advise you arrive assoon as it opens for the day so you can nab a seat. You don't want to miss Urban Kitchen! Read more
