My daughter and I originally stopped here to grab a quick bite to go. However, the gentleman at the counter Jeremy was so nice... and accommodating that we decided to sit down and have a proper lunch. Had the soup , hot fresh bread and butter and shared apizza, Everything was delicious. We came for the food but stayed because the customer service was amazing. We will be back. Read more

Sad to say but this isn?t the same pizza place from years ago. Obviously it?s under new ownership. Far from a NY pizza. You can... taste the premade can sauce, the cheese isn?t quality nor does it pull, too much cheese on the pie. The dough has no body and istoo soft, lack of fermentation. Read more

I just stopped in - was informed I'm now REQUIRED to provide my phone number to pay up front for a takeout order. Formerly great... pizza spot. Last two pies were sub par. Now that my personal info is required to order a pie, I wont be back. Read more

I've been going to the New York Pizza Department for many years, it was once, one of the best overall family dining experiences... here in Corona. However that is no longer true. The food itself is still fairly good, (which is why I gave ??) but the quality, overall customer service and attention to detail are no longer present. I was told that NYPD ownership recently changed; but itseems not for the better. It seems they believe that they can take a once great establishment and just ignore what once made itgreat. I have not dined in NYPD in some time since we usually just order their takeout pizza. However on my last visit my wife, and I decided to eat there. As we entered NYPD, we were told to sit outside because service dogs were not allowed. I told himthat I was a disabled veteran and that my service dog was completely legit and we have never been asked to sit outside. I didn'twant to make a bigger deal about it so I agreed. Once we entered the patio we noticed lots of trash and the tables were allfilthy, like they had not been cleaned in some time. The server cleaned up our table a bit and he apologized for the mess in thepatio. I asked for the manager, who came out and apologized for the mess and for forcing us to sit outside with my service dog.He also informed me that the new owners adopted new rules for service dogs in the business. The remainder of the meal was okbut the service staff did their best to make us more comfortable, considering we were sitting in a filthy patio with a veryclean and compliant service dog. Unfortunately I will no longer go to or do business with this establishment because of the noninformed and unconcerned attitude of ownership. Hope they read this and also make themselves aware that they are in violationof the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Under the ADA, State and local governments, businesses, and nonprofitorganizations that serve the public generally must allow "service animals" to accompany people with Read more

Hit and miss after 1 visit. The service was friendly but there was room for improvement. The chicken parmesan was plentiful but... uninteresting. And for $19 for the plate, I was slightly surprised to be served parmesan cheese in packets. The pizza was good, and the Buffalo wings were nice and crispy, but a $15 order comes with 8 pieces, which is slightly disappointing. The salad waslarge, fresh, and crisp, but I had to ask for a bowl to eat it on because the service plate was too small for the portion. Attime of ordering, we asked for a pizza to go, in addition to our table-service items, but the server forgot to put in the to-goportion of the order, causing us to have to wait an extra 15 minutes, which isn't the end of the world, but then he (veryobviously) lied to us about it. I mean, I don't expect anyone to be perfect, but don't BS me. The parking lot is accessible, with van parking and ramps, and the restaurant is a little cramped for a wheelchair, but would accommodate one. There was enoughpotential here that I'll give them another try, but there was definitely room for improvement on this visit. Read more

I drove here from quite a ways away on a recommendation. I ordered ahead and was told it should take 20-25 minutes for my pizza... and spaghetti with meatballs. I arrived there around 30 minutes later and was told they were really busy and it would another 5minutes for my food to be ready. I ended up waiting another 30 minutes and during that time they had 3 tables eating in and twopickup orders which doesn't seem all that busy to me. After half an hour my food was brought up but they forgot to put thetoppings on the pizza. They asked if I would like them to put it on. Well obviously since I ordered and paid for it. They saidit would take only 2 more minutes and after 10 minutes I finally got my food. The server working the front counter was very niceand apologetic about the whole ordeal at least. The in store experience wasn't great but at least if the food is good, I guessit makes up for it. The food wasn't good though. The pizza was ok but kind of dry, almost like there isn't any sauce. I tried aslice of pepperoni and it was dripping with oil. The spaghetti and meatballs were by far the worst, absolutely horrible. Thepasta was wet and the sauce watery with no real flavor. The meatballs almost made me throw up though, they taste like plainground beef that was boiled. No flavor, no seasoning, nothing. And it didn't even come with garlic bread, just a piece of coldbaguette. I'm disappointed I drove all the way here to try it but even if I lived right across the street, I still wouldn't beback. Maybe I just came in at a bad time or caught them on a bad day but it was so bad I'm not coming back to give them anotherchance. Read more
