Came for the oxtail, it was ok but too expensive ($30). I thought the portion was gonna be generous but no. I get better oxtail... from Miss Lily 7A in the East Village for $21. Love ???? this Cuban spot on Junction Blvd It?s a Little hole in the wall, Been coming Here for years the food is still... delicious, highly recommend it. One of my best plates is the ?Paella Valenciana? for 2 but you have to order it 1hr before youget to the restaurant because they cook it fresh & serve it to you in the pot. Great friendly service. Was in and out in 45 minutes. The food came out within 10-15 mins of ordering and it was nice and hot!... The taste and vibe inside feels so authentic and homemade. Esther is such a great host as well as the full team taking care ofthe restaurant. Everything was amazing from the Maracuya smoothie, cappuccino, their famous ropa vieja to their sweet and softmaduros. 10/10. The service at this longstanding Cuban restaurant is good. The prices are reasonable. The food is good but not to the same... level as it was many years ago. Also they only offer Sangria , Wine and Beer, as far as alcohol is concerned. It is still agood place to go with family and friends. Read more
Cute Cuban restaurant! This was my first visit to Rincon Criollo. I came here to try their Cuban sandwich which was extremely... delicious. The pork was seasoned to perfection. The ham was good as well. The staff is wonderful. The restaurant is family-ownedby twin brothers and has been in business for over 44 years. Guy Fieri has put his stamp and signature on the wall aftervisiting and eating the ropa vieja dish. Nice restaurant so if you are looking for some good Cuban food, stop by and pay them avisit. The food is rich with flavor. The oxtail is stupendous, reminds me of my grandmother's cooking. Paella was delicious lots of... seafood and meats. Got to call ahead to order the paella, takes time to cook. Service was great, friendly warm. We had aspecial birthday celebration as well. Overall great time with friends. Read more
