Very nice place to stay in Coronado. Pretty room doors facing a courtysrd style parking lot. Rooms comfortable but toilet was... too close to the shower for someone with long legs, in our room. Small refreshing looking pool, bikes and sand toys available.Front desk personnel were wonderful. Fresh cookies in the lobby and adjoining bistro was -yum! Read more
I can't say enough about this place! Charming, clean, great value, beds were comfortable, loved the big shower with plenty of... pressure, everyone was great and made sure we had a wonderful time! They have the best cookies in the afternoon for their guestsalong with coffee and hot chocolate. Location! We parked the car and walked, rode bikes that the hotel provided and jumped onthe free bus to longer locations...it was a great place to stay and definitely will be coming back. Read more
It really is a cute place in a nice location but unfortunately the stay was not great. The first night we flew in super late so... it wasn't bad the second night the people above us was so loud I informed the front desk and nothing was done from 7pm to 11pmand started back up at 4am. The front desk said they would adjust our cost but it was never done. I also forgot a bag whenleaving in the room i called looking for it but it disappeared. I won't use this location again. We love to this place. Have stayed here 3 times now and everything is always so easy, clean, and the staff is really stellar.... The location is perfect because it's not too long a walk to all the restaurants and shops and also a quick walk to the ferrywhich we love to take into town. Someone is really managing this place and this staff in a way that makes a stay here beyondpleasant. Read more
I really can?t say enough about this place! Not one detail is spared. they offer filtered water to fill up your water bottles, a... welcome gift, free bike and beach rentals! They make you feel like family! Keith is awesome along with the 2 gals that workthere too(didn?t catch their names). The housekeeping staff is so friendly and accommodating. This is a very cute stay in a great location. Walking distance to everything in Coronado. The bed was very comfy, and I... appreciated the filtered water in the lobby. The desk staff were all pleasant and kind. The walls of the rooms are very thin, wecould easily hear the conversations of our next door and above neighbors, and the people upstairs walking around. I would lookelsewhere if you are trying to sleep in. I wish there was a way to signal that we weren't ready for housekeeping, thehousekeeping staff was persistent in knocking on our door fairly early in the day, like 9:30 or 10, when we typically weren'tready for that until noon or so. Also personal pet peeve: housekeeping should never touch my toothbrush please. Overall goodvalue for the money, especially if you are looking to get up and spend most of your day in Coronado. I love this quaint place. They even gave us doggy gift bags and they have the best, most flavorful coffee. The bed was super... comfortable and it is extremely clean. It is a 10 min walk to the beach. They have public tennis courts right behind it andthere is a park very close by. I would definitely stay here again. Read more
Very nice cozy place, not so far from San Diego, well connected by bus route. Easy access to grocery and dining options and... close to Coronado beach. Only felt the comforters weren't too great for the cold in the room, but this could be just anunexpected cold weather. Highly recommend staying here than expensive San Deigo hotels. No complimentary breakfast, but there isa Bistro though in the hotel. But check in before 11PM!! Bad wifi though. Read more
