My son took us to one of his favorite Italian places in Coronado for lunch. We wound up getting breakfast instead. This was... probably the best breakfast I have had in the last six months. As it turned out, it was much better. It was the lunch hour andthe place started filling up fast. We enjoyed our meals and had a great time. Super delicious! We went because my friend recommended it and I'm so glad we did. We were able to dine outside with heaters.... Weekdays they have happy hour. I was solo with two kids and they made us feel very welcome. Everyone on the staff was friendlyand helpful. I really feel like they went out of their way to make it enjoyable. Now the food! So good! I couldn't makedecisions so I just ordered a ton of stuff for us to share. Meatballs, red sauce pizza, no sauce pizza, and pasta. Every singlething was wonderful. We came here after the zoo, our friend tried it when she visited San Diego last time and told us she knows the perfect place for... dinner! She wasn’t wrong. The food was perfect! The pasta we tried was super creamy and the chicken went well with it. TheMargherita pizza was delicious and was a personal size. We also got the lasagna which I didn’t try but I heard was reallygood. It’s in a really cute area where you can walk around and see lots of different local shops. They have a few outdoortables as well. The wait is a little long but I think it’s worth it! Read more
