Great location, food and scenic views! We ordered the Cajun mozzarella sticks and fried Mac and cheese balls for appetizers;... both were extremely delicious and came out quickly. My husband got the blackened fish (I forget which one, red snapper maybe!)and he could not stop raving about it. I ordered the grilled chicken which was yummy as I don?t like seafood. Our kids gotchicken fingers and a chicken sandwich?also delicious! We nibbled on some of their food. We were seated right in front of thebay windows and got an awesome view. What a fun place, we ate an early dinner yesterday before the crowd arrived and really enjoyed our visit. Our server/bartender... was great!! If you get near this bar and grill I highly recommend it. We went there two nights in a row and would have gone a third if we... were in the area. Great drinks and great food with friendly service. The atmosphere at this place is great! We sat on the patio with a view of the water. The Jam Band was awesome, especially the... base player! There was a relatively small crowd for a Saturday and how good the band and the food were. It picked up aroundnine. We had the dance floor (which is just a wood patio, so don't wear stilettos) to ourselves for the first set!! The friedMac and cheese tasted incredible--a crunchy, battered shell with creamy, cheesy, mouth-watering macaroni and ranch dip. Thenachos, which I forgot to take a picture of, had tons of fresh, chopped tomatoes and cilantro. They just needed more cheese.Will definitely be back! Read more
The Boathouse is a block from the beach, plus many condos and hotels. They've got a bar both upstairs & downstairs at water... level. Drive or boat over & enjoy the tasty Calamari and/or Cajun Mozzarella stick appetizers. A variety of grilled, fried, orblackened fish and/or shrimp dishes are available, plus chicken sandwiches, and burgers.
