I?ve been to a lot of different Denny?s in my life across the country as a truck driver etc. This Denny?s by far is the best... and my wife agree as well. the waiter was relatively nice, but the food took a very long time to come, about 45+ minutes. when asked why it took so long... since the restaurant was barren, she said they were switching cooks. would?ve liked a heads up. Ordered a burger and it was veryobscure looking, food was mid at best and we are not picky. the waiters breathe also lingered everytime she came over which wasunpleasant. flies swatted us as we ate which made the experience all the more delightful. she seemed eager for us to leave aswell, we had just gotten the food when she gave the tab, and when asked for another cup of coffee she said ?to go??. Came here for a quick bite before heading to the airport. They were out of everything, asked for tea they were out, asked for... lemonade they were out. We asked what they did have she said soft drinks. I ordered a coke that was flat. We ordered our foodand they didn't have the soup. The cook forgot he had to make it. Server kept leaving in the middle of taking our order and thenafter finally taking our full order she comes back to check because she forgot what we ordered. Read more

Lots of places were near closing time in the area, so we stopped by for dinner. We ordered the Bourbon Chicken Skillet, Mile... High Denver Omelet, Mac & Cheese, and Jr. Cheeseburger. The food was decent and my kids liked their meals. They didn't havesome ingredients for dishes due to delivery issues, but they were very nice about it. They seemed a bit short-handed. Tableswere vacated but not cleared off. Our server was very nice. The guy who was cooking had long enough curly hair in the front ofhis head, almost to his eyes, but did not wear a hair net or hat when he cooked. Lots of the booth seats were torn and taped up. Upside: staff friendly, good menu selections. Would say prices very reasonable, picture of bill posted. Downside: From ordering... to food arrival time was lengthy. Comments: After leaving the Marine Corps I swore I'd never eat cold eggs again, but I didhere. Sylvia was moving faster than any two other people and I didn't have the heart to tell her my food was cold. Couple nextto me sent their food back for being cold. Read more
Went there during one of our Corpus Christi tours. We ordered and had to wait for like 20-25 minutes for the food. But that's... okay since the place was fully packed. The food was of a good quantity and yummy. Our server was very helpful and friendly. Shewas thoughtful enough to come to us and apologize for being late. I actually love this restaurant and location. The only problem I really ever have when visiting this location is that they are... severely understaffed with waitstaff. On this night imparticular there was 1 waitress for the entire restaurant but I have toadmit she did the darn thing and got everyone. There actually was another lady helping although she may have been a manager andshe was actually ringing up people on the way out also. The food was delicious as always. On this night a great concert was heldat the American Bank Center not too far from there so I'm sure every open restaurant in the surrounding was busy but I was veryimpressed on how the business ran despite the employee shortage.
