First time at a Jason's Deli. I ordered the Ruben which was served on marbled bread. I thought the meat was super dry and a... little fatty. The bread was a little hard like it was made yesterday or something. My wife had the grilled cheese and tomatosoup. The cheese sandwich was okay but I found the soup to be dull and not real flavorful. It looked like they had a nicesalad bar which we didn't have. The only shining spot was the free ice cream cone. I ordered a California Club , this time it was so sloppy made. As I pick up one half of the sandwich it all fell apart?. And... this was the second time I didn?t get my fruit cup dip. I stopped in for a deli-sandwich, and boy-o-boy (ie., y?all) was I treated to a surprise! This might be my all time favorite... based on flavor!!! The bread was generously buttered and lightly toasted?the Carmela with salami, pepperoni and ham were thinlysliced and, overall, the sandwich was thick, moist, and with the fresh cheese more than I expected.
