Mesquite House BBQ, The best little BBQ place in Texas. The brisket literally melts in your mouth with an explosion of flavor,... and that's without the BBQ sauce. The beef ribs are fire, just so much taste on that rib, and not to mention the rice and beans,FIRE!!! Eating here is like eating at home. Outstanding BBQ with outstanding customer service. I called Mesquite House BBQ with less than one week notice to cater my... father-in-law?s 90th birthday party. They gladly accepted my order of the standard BBQ lineup: brisket, sausage, rice, beans,and potato salad. They called me the night before to confirm the pick-up time. They provided more than enough food to feed 30guests. And everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. Absolutely delicious! I ate everything that was put in front of me. Brisket great tender has a nice char crust as well! Sausage... delicious! And I am not a sausage person. Stopped by last night right before closing. They were very nice and got us 2-two meat plates. Brisket and sausage were good. ... Enjoyed the sauce and potato salad, but wish they had another traditional side other than beans and rice. The beans and ricewere good, but not something I would normally get with BBQ. Had a nice chat with someone, who I assume was the owner. We talkedabout local schools and celebrities, and he had even been to my small hometown. Read more
