Great Happy Hour! We tried the firecracker stuffed jalapeño and house margaritas. We also shared a plate of honey chipotle... chicken fajitas. Service was good but you could tell they were short handed. We went this past Friday again, again ordered thefirecracker stuffed jalapeño, margaritas. We also tried their trio queso, all three bowls had the base cheese dip, they justadded red hot sauce to one and green hot sauce to the other. I was initially disappointed to find their top shelf 1800 margarita used too much store bought sweet and sour. However the... watermelon margarita was delightful. The food was better than I expected for a chain Mexican restaurant and I would not mindeating here again and trying a few other signature margaritas. Read more

Their rice and beans were EXTREMELY salty to the point that we could not eat our food. The waiter explained that the sides were... all salty due to the seasoning they normally use not being available upon shipment. The customer service was not the greatestand I was very disappointed. Wow. Great food, good portions, and good service. The only negative is the plate may have been a bit to long under heat lamps... and dried out the rice. It has been a while since dining at "On the Border" but I sure do miss not having one in my hometown.It was not to busy and the staff was doing good at busing tables. I do not recommend this restaurant. Everyone got their food except for me. By the time the waiter came to check on us, everyone... was nearly done with their meal. My food never came out. The waiter was nice and apologized, but "I'm sorry" doesn't fill mybelly. I asked to just cancel my order because by the time my food would be ready, our table would be done eating and ready togo. The manager did offer to make it as a "to go" order, but i can't justify paying such a high price for cold soggy friedshrimp tacos. When I got the bill, i was still charged for the order i never received. I had to ask 2 employees to fix thebill to reflect the food that we actually got. They seemed more concerned on making me take the cold order to go , asking memultiple times, instead of just fixing the bill. Such a disappointment. Do better. Read more

This place is for sure has really good ambiance but lacks a ton on their standards of food quality and consistency. It was to a... surprise that what kind of chimichanga they make, it was for sure not we expected and the Fajita was really very bland and hadno taste. The fish tacos was for sure good I won?t complain on that. They for sure need to come up with new presentation skillson a plate, it felt like everything was thrown from a long distance to the plate.
