Super friendly service. The Happy Hour sushi deal is terrific. Very delicious. Our waitress was very helpful and sweet. When in... town, you have to try this restaurant. Our GPS did not get us there as effectively as we would have liked so be prepared to hunta little bit for it. Read more

There was a wait as it was pretty busy, but I like that they text your phone when your table is ready. This place has good food,... variety and a relaxing atmosphere. Our waiter Winston was attentive and gave us good service. The fried asparagus were delicious(I don't even like asparagus and I loved it). The crab stuffed flounder was great, the fried fish and chips were tasty, and theBlackened Chicken Alfredo was good, but the sauce could've used a little more flavor. I had a fried flounder filet with a bakedpotato and loved it. Overall everything was great from start to finish. Read more

Good drinks, good vibe & great bartenders precluded a one star review - our food order took over an hour to arrive. The food... was a solid 3-star performance an bar service 4 star. Host staff and the kitchen were clearly having major issues adapting tothe demands of a few large parties. We got seats at the bar, avoiding a 45 min - 1 hour wait - and observed multiple opentables for extended periods of time with many people waiting to be seated the entire time. Might give it another shot. Manageexpectations if you go here. Read more

The staff is rude. The managers looked overwhelmed and were very snooty. The floor was dirty. The peel and eat shrimp was great... but could have done without all the globs of dry seasoning on them. The wings were under cooked and flavorless. The sliders wereover cooked and no flavor either. The table was sticky, the mayonnaise bottle was on the table by the ketchup and hot (this isSouth Texas, it should have been in the fridge). The beer was hot. Read more

I went for happy hour, best deals on drinks on appetizers. It has a very good local feel, and all that I ate was great. I wanted... to try the hot wing challenge but they were out. I had the fish and chips (recommended) Buffalo wings, and coconut shrimp(alsorecommended), and the margarita. The service was a little slow as it was post lunch I guess. We ordered sushi too, but the waittime for over an hour, so we skipped it. We finished everything that was ordered. Perfect lunch time during hot summers!!! Read more

Ate over lunch and service/food was great. I'm no connoisseur of fresh oysters but the 1/2 dozen we got we're good. The fried... pickles were homemade and amazing! Our main dishes were good and ranged from seafood to burger sliders. Read more

The food is "ok", not great. It's not somewhere to go expecting a delicious dish you'll be raving about for years. It was... packed on a Saturday evening at 6:30pm, and we waited 45 minutes for a table. We don't mind waiting if we can get a drink at thebar & chat. The inside bar has no place for walk-up service - chairs all around are full of people eating, so you could shout &reach over them I suppose. Que the outside bar - great idea. We were first in line, but it took 15 minutes to get a few beerbecause it's barely a mini bar and the one person in front of us ordered a michlada which the bartender had to wander inside tomake. Then three portable credit card machines were acting up. I guess there were no beer mugs outside so the bartender had todisappear back inside before they could draw our beer from the tap. We were not in a hurry, but it's frustrating when simplethings just seem to take forever. There was a musician playing inside. It was lively and fun. There are many items on the menupriced at over $26-$30+, but I don't think I would risk expecting those to be really good here, but if you've got that kindamoney to blow on testing entree's for four, go right ahead. Yes I would go back, but I'll still keep my food choice limited tosomething a bar "can't mess up." My Diablo Pasta with chicken was dry and the pasta was quite solid (aldente) and dried out froma heat lamp. The fried shrimp platters were cold. We tipped nicely, although I don't see a need to have a separate line forkitchen tips. We will go back again to see if this was just a singular less than stellar experience. Read more

Great Island restaurant, that will actually cook what you catch locally for a small fee. We ordered fried pickles as a starter.... Thin sliced well seasoned batter with a side of homemade ranch. Ours arrived after our meal and they were not as hot as I wouldhave liked but still good. Next up Texas crunchy roll(tempura battered shrimp) and the tarantula roll (soft shelled crab) thesewere great! Very fresh tasting. Last was firecracker flounder. WOW, this bad boyhas some heat but sooooo good. Really stole theshow. Read more
