Been going here for years. It is a well kept secret, and the food, sushi, and curry is amazing. The sauces and soups are... always made in house, and the egg drop/flower soup is my favorite, along with the sesame chicken. This saddens me to give this place 2 stars, but allow me to explain. I?ve been going here for several years - since they opened... to be exact. Eventually I moved from the island but I still make it a point to commute out there to eat. In the past yearthough, the service has degraded to the level of unbearable. It started turning into 10-20 minute waits before even placing anorder. With very little traffic. (Im usually understandable when it?s busy.) Then it turned into long waits and messed uporders. I started cutting back on going out there as often due to this. (I use to go at least once a week in the glorydays.) But this last experience was the final straw. I even made a joke driving out there to my girlfriend ?wonder if theservice has gotten better.? Arriving there we sat down. The waitress didn?t acknowledge us, but I figured with 3 other tables,we were out of her ?jurisdiction.? The owner came up and asked us for our drinks. Then the waiting game started. The young ladyworking there walked up and asked us what we wanted to drink. We told her the owner took our drink order already. we waitedand waited and waited. About 15 minutes went by and nothing. The waitress didn?t even bother asking us if we were ready toorder or - you know - asked about our drinks. Finally I called her over and asked if we could get our drinks. She went and gotthem. Dropped them off and just walked off. Then we waited again. At this point we had been there for 30+ minutes. Thewaitress, seeing our menus in front of us, just ignored us. The people that came right after us already had their food and wereeating. We hadn?t even placed an order at this point. I was going to ask the waitress if we can put in our order but what wasthe point? I went to the front to pay for the drinks. If there was rating lower than zero, they would get a -3. The only thing that was good was the tea. My wife and I waited for... over 30 minutes before we gave up and had to leave. If any more time was spent waiting on them to bring us our appetizers, Iwould have been half way completed on writing my memoirs.
