Mom is happy because garlic herb shrimp are back on the menu, and she likes the cinnamon apples. I was happy with my grilled... salmon and skinny veggies, which were tender not crunchy. They were out of napkins but brought us nice brown paper towels. Sweettea a little bit weak. Quiet on Monday, a good centrally located lunch place. Rolls for the table have delicious fresh butter. Southern cooking with a lot of fried options. Sweet tea was good. Chicken tenders were fresh and crispy. The menu had a lot of... great side options including chicken and dumplings which are good enough to make a whole meal. The waiter Michael wasinteractive friendly and apparently from El Paso, nice kid. It's a good stop if you're passing through or if you're local. Read more
Good price considering portions. Sweet potatoes with sugar are kinda weird but mac&cheese was better than the usual average.
We had a hiccup with a bad piece of chicken fried chicken; but it was quickly replaced and the Texas Tenders are the move! Nice... atmosphere, friendly and fast service, and good prices. Definitely a contender for the big game platters! Read more
I usually really like the quality of food I get but today someone sent me a salad with brown and wilted lettuce. This was... particularly disappointing because I was really looking forward to a great salad. The salads are a bit pricey so I expected amuch better quality salad. Read more
We had a fabulous meal! We each ordered a different selection and they were delicious! The rolls and whipped butter really add... that extra homemade dining experience. The atmosphere is relaxed with Texas based art and historical prints. They also offer acomplete bar with TV to dine, enjoy a beverage and watch the game. Funnel cake fries cold. Meat in country fried steak tastes rotten( threw it away) they forgot side salad. They brought me the... side salad they had forgotten and it had hair in it. No sauce with funnel cake fries. The container they give you withcheese, butter, sour cream and bacon bits for your baked potato had 4 or 5 pieces of grated cheese as well as bacon bits.
