Our group of 6 came here for a celebration around 12:30pm. A little after they just opened. Our burgers were over cooked and... dry. The salads were not fresh and the lettuce was black and wilted. The two pasta dishes we order looked and tasted like theywere premade then reheated under a heat lamp. The only good thing we had were the onion rings and beers. Will NOT be back ever! Read more
Server was not very attentive because she was also the bartender and serving everyone else. She was friendly, though. The... garlic parmesan tenders were good, as well as the white chicken chili. Onion rings were also pretty good. Especially with theirhoney mustard. Drinking water tasted like it came out of a faucet as opposed to a real tap. Nachos we're not good at all. Sentthem back. This was my 2nd time visiting Central City Bar & Grill and was not disappointed. We actually planned a trip to Cortland just to... eat here. We came in for dinner at 9PM, were seated and served by an awesome waitress with the best personality. Everything weordered was delish and portion sizes were huge! Excellent atmosphere and service. I highly recommend the locally caught perch fish fry (Wednesday special). Also try the Homer... Hops Patsy?s Quest on tap - a chocolate coconut porter. And if Gigi is your bartender, show her some love. Oddly enough, theydon?t serve mules. And I had my heart set on a Moscow Mule. Service was great. We liked our server Connor. Beers were good. The server let us try a sample to make sure we would enjoy... it. Food was average. Servings were quite large. A few members of the family were not thrilled with the shrimp scampi. Overall, we were pleased. Read more
We have currently been sitting here for over 2 hours, the service has been terrible, no food , no one comes to check on us, the... place is practically empty, six waitresses . My son is going to school at Cortland , we will never come here again. I suggestthat you avoid this place at all cost. If there is a two hour wait somewhere else, just wait you will be served sooner, andprobably treated better. HORRENDOUS !!!! Read more
