Hidden gem for sure, the view was amazing as we watched fish jump out of the water and the freighters go by. Definitely make a... reservation, as we did get turned away once a few months earlier. Food was great, try the encrusted Brie as an appetizer! Theycouldn't do draft beers the day we went but the wine was a good selection. The pricing really wasn't bad and our waitress wasfun and friendly. Looking forward to bringing more people here. Read more
We ordered 6 Blue point oysters and they were delicious. I went with the twilight prix fixe , had the salad, Cajun chicken... tortellini it was fantastic not spicy, I did upgrade the dessert for the New York style cheesecake, came with blueberry and mostdelicious whip cream. While I wasn’t going for budget this meal was at an awesome price at 35 bucks. My Husband ordered theUltimate mix seafood trip and a Cesar salad. The only thing he was disappointed about, he only found 1 Anchovy his favorite butnot a big deal. Love this place! Read more

The facility was neat and clean including the bathroom. The hostess was warm, friendly and informative. Our waitress was... patient, knowledgeable about the menu and anticipated our needs before we asked. The other wait staff were very courteous andfriendly even though we were not their diners. My clam chowder was excellent as was my crab cake. We enjoyed the shrimp andburgers. All in all the food, the service and the view all combined made it an outstanding time. We will be back! We had reservations at 5:45 on a Sunday evening. It was not very busy at all when we arrived. We had requested a table by the... window in our reservation. We were told that is never guaranteed (understandable) but they had a table for us on the porch areanear the windows. We were ushered to a table that was tucked in next to a wall, where the view of the water would be quitelimited. When we asked for one of the 3 empty tables right by the window, we were told that they were “saved” for largerparties. These tables were NOT reserved. (All of the tables on the porch sat 4, with a possibility of 6). They would NOT seat usat an empty table that had not been reserved. The hostesses were huffy and borderline rude when we asked about the empty tables.It was not very welcoming. Our server had no more than 2 tables to serve while we were there, and she was far from attentive. It was quite obvious that the party of 6 next to us would yield a bigger tip, so we were put second. My meal came out ratherchilly, and when I asked for butter, it took about 10 minutes to come out. Needless to say, my broccoli was VERY cold by then.We asked for another drink and it took her about 10 minutes to come back with our drinks as well. Overall, for the price you payfor a meal, you expect more. We used to enjoy coming here but the last couple of visits were under par. We likely won’t beback. The food and service was very good. However, I made a reservation for a large group 11 days ago and called yesterday to confirm!... I requested outside but they couldn’t guarantee. Today when I arrived I found that the outside was closed. I was told we had atable way in the back of the restaurant. I asked for the manager (the general manager was not there). She was rude and spokedown to me as if I was trash! I asked if we could be set up near the windows as many of us traveled over an hour to get there.Her attitude was horrible and it will be a cold day in hell before I return and especially not with a group! I will becontacting corporate and Landry’s as well as the Hilton since I am a rewards member for both! My cousins from London have been visiting River Crab Bluewater Inn for years. We joined them this past weekend and now... understand why it's their go-to destination for a weekend getaway. Located right on the water, it's a beautiful setting. Managed to partake in Happy Hour for great cocktails and apps. Unfortunately had to cut our time short as we had dinnerreservations at 6:30pm. My only disappointment was that "Happy Hour" isn't available in their gorgeous outdoor setting. I'vealready recommended the restaurant and inn to several people. Without a doubt , we'll be returning. Friendly staff and our waitress was very knowledgeable and attentive. Great views and a nice atmosphere with live piano. We... enjoyed 3 appetizers. Pork belly, calamari, and Buffalo shrimp. They all had great flavors and the calamari was cookedperfectly. My cajun Chicken tortellini was spectacular. We all enjoyed our dining experience. Highly recommend, definitely makea reservation.
