Not a fan. Been there 6 different times , trying to give them a chance. Everything meal is not great. Mashed potatoes are nasty... so I tried twice baked and it was worse ! Dry out skin and stuffed with nasty mashed potatoes, cheese on top was hard as a rock.Prime rib was dry. My son got chicken fettuccine which was dry and tasteless. Very disappointing. Won't be back. I'm giving this a five based on expectations being over met... The outside is, well the neighborhood is sketchy... Inside is an... interesting collection if decor. I feel like it's the worst but it's perfect here.. anywhere else it'd be a L. We waited a whilethe hostess was as unappealing to interact with as possible not a smile nothing she is not good.... Our serveR was Falon theonly nice part of dinner she rocked..the food was horrible canned crab not even drained my steak swam in blood and crabwater. My steak was three different temps... Idk how you turn mashed potatoes brown without gravy... Not to mention the boiledto death veggies.... This place is pretty gross outside and the foods pretty gross inside. Enjoyed our meals (we both ordered prime rib), which was cooked the way we like it - medium rare. Oh my gosh - the clam... chowder...the BEST we've ever had! The texture was interesting so we had to ask, and the server said that the chef adds mashedpotatoes instead of potato chunks - wow who knew this could make the soup MUCH more appetizing! The clam bits were not chewybut tender and succulent, and didn't disappear in the soup. My caesar salad was also good. Service was good - they were verybusy...I think they could use more help. The atmosphere is appealing (love their custom wood tables for large groups). This wasa memorable meal, and we hope to be back (we're from Calif)! Read more
