I really wanted to rate higher, but the food was so bland I almost put half the salt shaker on my meal, and it still didn?t... help. Dude, this place is amazing. The night staff is like family they take such good care of you. Miranda and scout are so patient... and kind and they make the whole restaurant a place I will keep coming back to as a regular. Even at 1am I have never got badfood. It was always hot and tasty. Read more
On Sept 17, 2022 we stopped at Shari's for dinner on our way home from Newport OR. The OR Ducks -v- BYU game just finished so... traffic on the freeway was barely moving so a perfect chance to eat & avoid the gridlock. The food was great & no complaints. Ido want to give a shout out to...the one waitress , the floor manager, the only cook & dishwasher on staff for serving a fullrestaurant yet maintaining absolute courtesy, a great attitude, hot food & a cheerfulness that you don't always get toexperience with a full crew. I will make it a point to stop here again if I'm in the area in hopes of getting the same greatfood & service. Read more
AWESOME summer menu. Ordered the spicy cauliflower on the seasonal menu with my burger and it was so tasty! Like fair food, but... healthier cauliflower. Also got a free slice of pie because of the Wednesday special. Really large portions for reasonableprices, plus pie. Great staff. Not bad at all! Read more
Consider this... it is diner food. Good old fashioned diner food. There are some hits and some misses. But, always reliable... for that after a night out breakfast. Oh, and I love their spring mix omelet/scramble. I always add a side of hollandaisewhich they have ALWAYS served hot. Ok, now I am hungry. Read more
Can't believe we haven't eaten here before. It was Sunday evening with a very short staff - one manager and one server. They... both looked exhausted but provided such good customer service. The food was really good and the pie was phenomenal. We willdefinitely be back. Read more

I have been dining at Shari's for about 15 years, mostly on pie night, but since they re-opened after Covid, it has been more... like 2-3 times a week, sometimes more (too lazy to cook for myself). Over the last month or so, things at Shari's has beenchanging, and not for the better. This evening I went in at about 830 in the evening and ordered the "steak and eggs withstuffed hash-browns and pancakes. When my order arrived, everything was on one plate, all of it (insert shocked face here). The"6 oz. sirloin" might have been 4 oz., more than likely 3 oz. I will say that the cook did get the med-rare spot on. The stuffedhash-browns might have been a half portion. The pancakes were only 4" in diameter and less than half inch thick! Sorry, I'm nota big guy, but I know that I didn't order a "Happy Meal". If I'm going to pay $20 for that meal, I am going to expect reasonableportion. On the bright side, my server was pleasant, attentive and made the aggravating visit much better than it really was. Itruly hope that Shari's starts getting the picture and goes back to what "Cafe" with comfort food really is supposed to be. Goodfood with fair portions will bring more return customer back than cutting back on the food and having to go looking for "new"customers. Starting to re-think my choices in restaurants. Read more
