Try the homemade chips! You say, ?Blake, I?m not going to a restaurant to eat chips? .. stop that kind of thinking, just get the... chips. The service was good even though they were slammed. Stopped in for a late lunch, our first visit. I ordered The pulled pork on an open face bun. The bun was burnt black, Did the... cook really not notice it was burnt as well as the wait person that handed it to me?? My husband ordered the Pasta Alfredowhich was really Mac and cheese. They have great food here, the nachos are the best I?ve had around the area! The outdoor seating is very nice and it?s very easy... to order food, you just walk up to the bar and order food + drinks, then wait at a table with your number and they bring it outto you. Staff have always been super friendly and accommodating. Great drinks as well! The Brass Monkey drink was great.Definitely worth checking this place out! Read more

Great little spot! I was waiting for dinner and a movie with friends in Corvallis, couldn?t wait (got hangry) and so I waltzed... into the Brass Monkey downtown. I?m so glad I did. The place was great and the food was amazing. I ordered pork nachos and amargarita. I asked if there was a spicier hot sauce available, was given a habanero tincture from the bar (I put it in both themargarita and the nachos)? and it was delish! Will be back to try the ahi poke and the pork belly next time ???? totally worththe detour. And yes, I did eat dinner twice yesterday ??????????? It happens! Read more
This place was pretty good! I have had the veggie burger, which was delicious and the Chicken tacos too! The fish and chips I... would definitely rank 3 out of 4. It was over cooked and the drink, volcano, was mediocre at best. That being said, the staff isphenomenal and the atmosphere as well. Also, they have an amazing bar with a great selection of whiskey! Highly recommended. This was stop #2 on our Pub Crawl from our hotel to the stadium to watch the Ute/Beaver game. By far the... most helpful and engaged staff of the whole day. The bartender Tim helped us map out the rest of the stops for our crawl, allwhile serving some most excellent beers that he recommended. This was a disappointing dining experience. The food was okay. The "loaded" fries had some stuff ladled onto the top third and... the rest was just plain fries. Expensive for 2/3 plain fries. The dish hinted at bacon, but "loaded" it was not. The cheesesauce was very good, though. We also got some chicken wings (not crispy as described) and the chicken and waffle, which tastedfine. Some places, you just really want to go back and try everything, or have that one amazing dish over and over. There wasnothing here like that for me, unfortunately. Read more
