I was seated for at least 14 15 minutes before I finally had to go to the front and ask someone to send a server to my table to... get my drink order. They were not overly busy for a Friday morning so I couldn't understand why I was passed up so many times bymultiple servers. Once I did get service it was good but more than one item came out cold on the plate and I only ordered threeitems. When the items were brought back to me warm they had a strange taste and I decided to not eat them. I am typically aperson who leaves 20 to 30% tip but on this day I left a 15% tip. Read more

Just like most places there didn't seem to be much help. It took 30 minutes for our food to come out and it was cold like it had... been ready and just sitting there. very nice food and tasty, the servers are often very kind. prices are affordable. it is good that they have a parking lot for... trucks and RVs. but I don't know why other people are so stupid to park their regular cars in the space provided for truckswith trailers or RVs. the parking lot is at least big enough for regular cars. Not the worst Cracker Barrel I?ve ever been to but not the best! Chicken tenders were like shoe leather baked potato was cold... and hard cold slaw so I was more like cabbage in a bowl not impressed! Had to ask for napkins had to ask for dipping saucewaitress never came back to ask if everything was OK! This Cracker Barrell was the best experience ever. Kaitlyn was an awesome server. We?ve been to many other locations and her... service was the best we have ever had. She is the only one who said we could get regular hash browns since we don?t likeonions. She checked on us plenty and asked if she could get us drinks to go. We had such a great experience here today! The waiter McKenzie was so great we had to tell the manager about her and Victoria... was so friendly and very beautiful! Such amazing people here. The special was to die for and my wife hamburger steak waskiller. They made us feel really great about coming in and honestly it's beautiful to see people being so nice and friendly intoday's view. I have to say this is probably the best family based restaurant in the local area. Plus they have all kinds ofcool stuff to look at while you wait! We were seated quickly and our server, Charlea, came to our table promptly. She was attentive and seemed to magically appear... with drink refills. Now, I'm picky about my sweet tea. I like it mostly unsweet. Charlea got it perfect. I ordered the friedchicken, which consisted of a half chicken in the standard four pieces. But I'm a fan of dark meat and no, you can'tsubstitute. Bad Cracker Barrel. Strike one. Angel ordered the fried cod. She's a fan of codfish with her tartar sauce andalways has to ask for extra. Tartar sauce, not cod. Charlea took our order and returned quickly with my salad. Soon our foodarrived. It was ok and only ok. The chicken was overcooked and a bit dry. Angel said he cod was mostly breading. I'm a totfan so I had ordered the hash brown casserole tots. Highly disappointing. A couple of minutes after we got our food, Charleacame back with our check. We are not fans of this practice and asked another employee about it. Apparently it is companypolicy. But the check is supposed to be delivered when you are finished eating, not when you are just starting. Maybe I'm justold fashioned. Strike two, Cracker Barrel.
