We always loved the food there. Very disappointed with the food. There were no veggies in our combination dinner. Salad was... brown. Chicken was tough and dry and the steak was not a filet that we paid for. Very disappointed we will not be backdefinitely not worth $44.00. Read more
I had the beef tips, was very good, rice had a very nice flavor. Only complaint on the food is that I thought it would be bigger... pieces of meat. Thin sliced meat. A little more would be good as well. My daughter had the chicken. She said it was very tastyand she had a good portion of chicken and rice. Her and her little toddler shared and still had leftovers. I'm giving 4 stars, but only because (1) staff was great and (2) Manager made amends for a disappointing meal. I went in on a... Friday evening during peak hours. I sat at a table and ordered my drink and placed two separate to-go orders. It took over 45mins. But everyone seemed to be working hard and the waitress, Mia, was extremely kind, attentive, and apologetic about thedelay. Once the meal was packaged, she gave me plenty of extra sauces and utensils and things for my meals. My commute to myhotel was just minutes away and after the first few bites, every bit of the food was awful. The steak & shrimp hibachi hadlittle flavor..but edible. The 3 rolls of sushi I had were not good. None of them. There was just something ....off. I don'twant to insinuate anything, but I've eaten A LOT of sushi and...it...was...gross! I called the restaurant and discussed only myconcern with the sushi rolls. After talking to the manager, he agreed to refund me for the rolls upon the return of the food.Luckily, I was close and able to bring back the uneaten food. Had I not been, I probably would have given a lower rating. Whenarriving back at the restaurant, the staff was kind and gracious... not degrading or rude like some people can be when theythink you're being a difficult customer. All restaurants/food have their hiccups...doesn't mean the food wouldn't have beenamazing on another day. I'd definitely give it another shot, specifically because of the customer service. Read more
I only go there when someone else makes me. Small menu, Mediocre food and this last time we were harassed by a customer seated... behind us. I think I've finally got my daughter to agree to never go again! Read more
I was really impressed with not only the quality of the food, but also the quantity! I got the teriyaki chicken for about $12... which came with 4 California rolls?! That was such a pleasant addition and it was amazing. If I lived in the area, I would comeall the time! I highly highly recommend this restaurant. Absolutely delicious and passionate. Good food. Philly roll seemed pre-made, kind crunchy rice. But the combo steak and shrimp with rice cooked in teriyaki was... amazing. Tried one of the bigger rolls and it was great. If ever in the area will return again for sure. Read more
I ordered seaweed salad and miso soup delivered. There was 1/4c of weak miso soup and LITERALLY THREE BITES of seaweed with a... bunch of plain iceberg lettuce underneath. This portion of food was $10. I am quarantined, guess I?ll starve. Thanks, guys. Read more
Walked in and stood at the doorway for about 5 minutes before a server approached us, said nothing, and wiped the crumbs off a... booth table into the booth seats. The server did not even look at us, turned and walked to the front. A second server looked atus standing by the door, then went about her business, again, with no acknowledgement. After another minute or so with noresponse from staff, I approached a server filling drinks to ask if we were waiting for seats or if we seat ourselves as thereis no signage with any direction. The server replied with a curt "seat yourself". We wiped the crumbs off the seat and sat inthe booth. We then waited another 10-15 minutes with the tables around us receiving service and ours not even receiving a"someone will be with you shortly". While we sat, 3 more families walked in, stood for 5 or so minutes without anyacknowledgment, and left. We finally left without so much as a menu on the table. Before anyone judges, I have worked multiplecustomer services jobs in various aspects of the business, both front and back of house. I'm usually a patient person when itcomes to customer service, but this was atrocious. Read more
