It was supposed to be a nice Mother’s Day, instead it was a complete rip-off. Burgers were on the menu, first they came out... like burnt golf balls and were sent back. Then one of the burgers that a bite was taken out of and we had sent back, was thenpassed off to another member of the table!!! Disgusting!!!! We were willing to pay $50 a head per fixe, the other portionswere under 3oz of fish, wait staff was rude and the owners refused to face us. Food was so yummy. The codfish was so buttery and soft, I was taking my time savoring every bite.
The food is consistently very good, well seasoned and inventive at Coast. The tables are well spaced and the acoustics were... surprisingly good when we ate there recently on a busy Friday night. It's one of our go to places that never disappoints. Read more
Coast does not disappoint. Once more, everything was amazing. The place is busy but quiet and well appointed. The service is... excellent. However, the best thing about Coast is the food. Lobster shooters , octopus, seafood risotto were amazing, fresh, puttogether with well appointed flavors. The duck at Coast is the best I have ever had. Strongly recommended. Read more
We came to celebrate our 3 years anniversary and although the overall experience was good I expected way more from a place like... this. The staff is extremely nice but clearly they are facing short on staff as we could see that the waiters were doing magicto take all tables. But again, this impacted the overall experience, they asked if we wanted warm bread, we said yes and wenever received. It was a romantic night for me, they had candles in the table, I asked if they could light up them, they said ofcourse , and never came. Last but not least i don't drink a lot so usually 1 glass of wine works fine but here their glassserving is almost half of the rest of the places. We came here on a spur of the moment. We were in Port Chester visiting family and wanted seafood. But many of the restaurants... were not doing dine in or they were not yet open. Google search came up with Coast Seafood not too far. So we took a chanceand came to CT. This restaurant is in a small strip mall overlooking a strip if water that feeds into the LI sound. It musthave a new view on a warm day when you can dine outside. James was so courteous and helpful. We ordered Oysters, LobsterSeafood Risotto and Chilean Sea bass in Black Bean Sauce with Truffle Fries. We tried 2 types of Oysters and both arefantastic. Lobster Seafood Risotto was excellent! It was perfectly made. I hate when it's made al dente. Chilean Sea Bass inBlack Bean Sauce with Truffle Fries - 1st I've never had black bean sauce on seafood so this was a nice surprise and it turnedout to be amazing pairing! Truffle fries were very well made. Many places say it's Truffle Fries but it only briefly smelllike Truffles never taste like Truffles. These taste like Truffles! We loved the octopus for appetizer and scallops for main course. The special peach salad was great too.
