We stopped by for lunch on the way back from the fair near Raymond. Had a deluxe burger with bacon & swiss cheese & onion rings.... Their homemade hamburger patties are very good & juicy. Leah our server was awesome & returned often to make sure we hadeverything or was in need of more. I see they also serve dinner. We are looking forward to going back soon. Read more

This place is over priced and not even good. I spent 19.67$ on a one meat patty cheese burger over loaded with a whole onion... damn near, the smallest portion ever that was about 4 bits of salty potato salad(3.99), "a homemade lemon malt/shake" that wasjust ice cream from a machine in a cup with some flavor poured over it. "A small mom n pop gem". They're not a fancy place by any stretch, which means their food is homemade with local ingredients. My... burger was great and came with a mountain of fries. My mom got chowder and really liked it. "Couldn't describe it, but it wasyummy!" Wide menu rangi6from soups salads sandwiches and burgers to pizza milkshakes and dinners. Clark's Restaurant (CR) is a gem. Burgers: 10/10 People: 10/10 Service: 8/10 Sometimes understaffed Homemade Ice-cream: 9/10... They aren't joking about having the best burgers. Even have a gluten free bun option. We went again on the way back home to try... the homemade ice cream and their "colossal" cinnamon roll. ALSO very worth it. The cinnamon roll had proper homemade creamcheese icing! And was indeed humongous! Don't believe the hype? Was really looking forward to a good burger and shake at this place. Burger was thin. If you get the... jumbo it is still thin, just bigger bread too. If you want a good meat to bun ratio then get the double patty. We ordered theburger with an egg specifying runny yolk but yolk came hard. Speaking of hard, the potato skins were just horrible!!!! Itseems as they have been left in a walk in and then microwave. Shake was just ok. Was too sweet. Pie was ok. Filling was okbut crust tasted/felt more prefab than homemade. Ice cream was nothing special (which is why the shake is nothingspecial) Covered outdoor seat was a plus. If you like a good burger and shake diner, I would SKIP this one and look elsewhere. Great milkshakes and cute restaurant. They have a drive up and outdoor seating. You go look at the huge menu board then find a... table. They take your order and it's that easy. The fish and chips were ok, so was the steak. The witness told us they arefamous for their burgers. So will try that next time. French fried are amazing. Read more
