We absolutely love this place! Great food, delicious fresh tortillas, refreshing margaritas. Their service is bomb! Nice kids... menu. A lot of seating indoors and some outdoor seating. Cozy interior. Big parking lot, but part of it has been closed off toaccommodate for more outdoor seating during the pandemic. Read more

Really disappointed with my dinner experience at the Costa Mesa location. My refined beans were burned, chicken enchiladas were... over-cooked with no cheese on them, chips were mixed with stale ones, salsa had a weird taste and my rice was floating inover-cooked sauce. I really like the establishment, so I was very surprised to receive very poor service! We were seated at adirty table and no acknowledgement for longer than expected. We were seated by the noisy severs breezeway as well. I am anhonest person and want tell you, they did take my meal off my tab, however, this should not have happened! I never really ateand ended up with a stomach ache from the food. This was originally a $50+ tab. I did tip our server, however I will never goback! Unable to trust their service! We were good customers. We went in quietly and left quietly. Never caused any scene ordisrespectful to the staff. SAD! Read more

Avila's is extremely busy on a Friday night, but we only had to wait about 5 to 8 minutes for seating for party of three. Our... food was delicious. I had Chicken Mole Enchiladas, which I enjoyed tremendously. My brother had the carnitas and he said wastender and flavorful. His wife ordered a burrito but perhaps due to some confusion she ended up with the appetizer sampler,which she said was great nonetheless. Read more
