me and my girlfriend just moved here and omg, its so good and actually has seasoning. if youre colored or thai looking for... actual flavor this is the place. the lady there speaks to you like shes known you for ages and the atmosphere is so comfortableand open!! definitely recommend and this is a new favorite place. Been looking for a good Thai place ever since moving down from Seattle (which seems to be the capital of amazing Thai food in... the US). I still haven't found a 5 star Thai option here, but I'm happy to report that Bangkok Corner is a pretty solid andconsistent option! Give them a try. Read more
We were in Newport Beach getting our car fixed and we had an itching for Thai food and found this place. We had the panang curry... and tom kha along with some egg rolls. Everything was so good and flavorful. Definitely will be back. Read more
Their Yellow Curry dish is a solid 5 stars. It tasted delicious and fresh. The chicken, potatoes, and carrots blended together... perfectly and the curry itself was mild (as requested) with a very flavorful kick. The jasmine rice was soft and fluffy, just asrice should be to soak up that yummy curry. The dish reminded me of my favorite in VA and everyone here loved it. I have ordered take-out from this place multiple times and the food is great! The last time I ordered, I got a great surprise.... This establishment has switched from using plastic take-out cartons to cardboard! This is a much better alternative forsustainability! I did notice that with the switch in containers, came a change in the spice level in their food as well. If youare not good with spicy food, definitely order the mild versions of the items. Read more
Restaurant is cramped, small, with a few tables and limited parking but with extremely flavorful and mouth watering dishes. If... you are a fan of hot dishes, please try the basil beef rice. If you want something a little more tame but still flavorful trythe Mongolian beef. Good value for your dollar and good portions. Read more
The vegetables in the curry weren?t cooked enough, the curry is sooo watery that it should be called soup. The flavor of all the... curry and soup we got were excellent, but the cooking process needs to improve. We also got the orange chicken. That dish is ahard pass. Not enough sauce, no orange flavor and very, very dry breaded chicken. I guess that?s not really a Thai dish so theyhaven?t put much effort into it. Read more
