Do you like Thai food? Me too! But this place is very strange. Food taste weird. I go to different thai places regularly. I know... how food should taste. Variations are welcome! But it look like they just don't have right ingredients. (No some spices?)Example: they agree to give me combo rice but warned that they "don't have cashews today" (they found few later). They run outof cashew?!... Everything served (even soup) in plastic cups and plates. Isn't it a restaurant, supposedly? My husband and I have been going to MaDee Thai for years, and this is by far the best Thai food we have found in the... Newport/Costa Mesa area! Their pad Thai is the best I?ve ever had - it?s always fresh, not super greasy and the quality itconsistent. I cannot reccomend this place enough! Read more

The food's really good! But they don't seem to want to wear their masks here. They constantly take the masks off, put them on,... wear them half off. Whatever you may think about Covid, my issue is that if they can't follow simple mask regulations then Iwonder what other cleanliness issues they are struggling with.
