I strongly believe that the manager was being rude to me and the tipping policy was manipulated by the restaurant. If the... service is adequate then the customer can give the waiter a good tip. Noone is obligated to give 18 percent if they don't feellike it. It's not the law. This manager was acting unprofessional and beyond stupidity. I wouldn't recommend this place toanyone alive. Finally tried this place with group of my best friends, and was really impressed! I don't dine in often anymore, but wow what a... neat experience! We had a traditional table where you take off shoes. We had US beef omakase and everything was amazing. Almostall the meat cuts were tender and juicy. Fried rice was delicious! Least favorite dish was short rib covered in onion, bc youonly cook 1 side, and it wasn't so tender. Price was fair for the quality. Will definitely try to make it back for date night!Minus 1 star due to the parking...it's definitely one of the busiest parking lots I know. Read more

I would give 0 star it that's an option. Worst experience ever! We were seated for more than 10 min. and water was served, and... then one of the staff came and told us he made a mistake by giving us the reserved table and ask us to leave without secondwords!! So ridiculous that we have to be mistreated and leave due to the restaurant mistakes. And they didn't said anythingabout it, just ask us to leave! This is not a right way to treat your customers! What had happened was not our fault, we shouldnot be treated like this! No words could express how shock we were when we leave the restaurant. Won't visit it again!???????????? Read more

I liked it but not enough to fight the line or the parking lot to eat at. I enjoyed the meat here but I feel like there are... other places I would prefer to eat at with less stress and less waiting. Read more

The meat served here is really good. The cuts are well marveled and very tender.

All the meats are fantastic! But the mushrooms are not good for grilling, because the temperature of the grill is too hot for... vegetables. Will come back for sure! Read more

Stopped by for a late dinner and for more than expected. Really just want some oxtail soup and maybe a few skewers, but found... this place was much more than yakitori. Like a mix of KBBQ but with high quality cuts more like shabu. I’m sure there is aname for this, but I don’t know it. Oxtail soup was very good, but reminded me of Korean beef bone broth as well, justelevated. As for the meat, they has a special on Japanese A5 wagyu brisket for $18 which was awesome. Simply salted and camewith salad and light citrus dipping sauce. Also tried the signature short rib with green onion and salt which was also very goodand came with its own dipping sauce. Last but not least, we tried the prime outside skirt or hirami in spicy miso. They have twooptions for a marinade, sweet like teriyaki or spicy miso, they just don’t volunteer that. Service was very good but theyobviously have certain preferences for how you should enjoy their food and should help newbies more. Not sure if they weretrying to be overly polite or accommodating, but once we got past that and we explicitly asked them to guide us, we were allgood. They changed out the grill often and checked with us many times after that. Prices were very food for the quality of meatas well. Read more
