My husband and I had an amazing impromptu brunch last weekend after my class at trim fitness and it was amazing! The food was... fresh, our eggs/omelette was cooked to perfection! I’ve had overcooked disappointing omelettes and was nervous but instead wasabsolutely surprised ???? Mich served us and he was amazing! 5 star service. Been coming to Old Vine for years and will keep coming. The quality of the food, wine, and service is best in class. Great... vegetarian options too. Love the decor. I really wanted to try their rooftop. We got there early right before 6pm for rooftop opening. I got a bit hungry and the bites... menu at the rooftop did not seem appetizing, so we went downstairs to the restaurant and had a full meal. I got the salmon andmy husband the beef stroganoff. The ambiance and service here is great but the food simply isn't good. The filet mignon was cold in the middle and overcooked,... even though it had been ordered medium rare, every vegetable on our plates was over salted, and the flash fried arugula on thecaprese is an abomination. They have a limited beer menu and were out of some of their selection. All in all, the experienceand vibe of this really cool restaurant was overshadowed by the bad food. Read more
Food was really good here. We did the wine tasting which was delicious. I was surprised by the generous pours of wine they gave... you. Foods seem to be made to order as it does take some time to come out but it is well worth the wait. Prepare to eat for two,maybe 3 hours for a table of four. Read more
We just finished our TSA pre Screen interview and decided to go out to dinner. Did some google searches and found the Old Vine... Cafe highly rated so we headed over to see for ourselves. Yup. The reviews are right. We splurged for the wine tasting menus. My wife had the original and I had the premium because I love blueberries. Lamb chops with blueberry demiglaze. Every one ofthe dishes was delicious and the server was purrfect but, I had to say it. I didn't taste the blueberries. It was still greatbut I didn't find the blueberry taste I was looking for but that in no way diminished the taste and quality of the food I ate. I love eating out on the patio too. Read more
This type of culinary experience is few and far between. Remarkable seasonal cocktails and curated selection of wine and liquor.... I rarely enjoy a cheese board, yet Old Vine's had me clearing the board. Both the eggplant burrata and scallops areotherworldly.
