Completely Unexpected We had family travelling from Vegas to Irvine last minute, and it had been too long since we'd seen my... Aunt and Uncle. I looked on Open Table and Google for the best brunch spot and came across this Jem called ‘Silver TrumpetRestaurant’! I was lucky to be able to make reservations online and select a great table that is warm and comfy for my Uncle, who was recently diagnosed with Myelofibrosis. Our family reunion was lovely and emotional, and the service we received fromJames, the manager, and MaryAnn our excellent server (I hope I spelled her name correctly) was outstanding! They both made usfeel very welcome and took excellent care of us. So attentive and wonderful, and such a lovely circular table with a lovelywindow view of the lake. Priceless! Brunch was incredibly inexpensive and delicious, and the environment was festivelydecorated for the holidays. I adore this place and will absolutely return with family and friends! But wait there’s more! Thereview is not yet finished. My mother asked us to snap a photo of herself seated at the piano, which we did, but she forgot herphone on the piano as we left and didn't discover it till the evening. Thankfully, James was still around to save the day, andhe found it and made sure it was safe for me to pick up the next day. I was astounded by how gorgeous the hotel lobby is when Ireturned the following day to pick up my moms phone at the front desk. Even the valet person was so kind to let us quickly parkto get moms phone which took less than two minutes. Silver Trumpet Restaurant team deserves nothing less than five ??????????for everything, from our family's reservation to our overall dining experience and the super fast service in the hotel! Thereisn't a place to spend precious times with family and enjoy wonderful food. Thank you Silver Trumpet Restaurant you’regreatly appreciated you are a hidden JEM! Read more

It has a very nice indoor and outdoor ambience. The Ribeye at $62.00 is just okay because it does not have the aged flavor. The... waiter, Mitch, is very energetic, courteous, and provided an excellent service. The Fig Fashioned (See the photo for yourreference) at the Avenue of the Arts Costa Mesa, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is the best. It comprised of Fig-Infused Four Roses, maple simple syrup, black walnut bitters, brandied cherries, and orange twist. Read more

Wonderful any time of day restaurant. Very tasteful decor. Upscale without being stuffy or pretentious. Service was delightful.... They were attentive without being obtrusive. Everyone I encountered was pleasant without being saccharine. Great quality foodserved in reaonably generous portions. We lived it so much we started with brunch and moved into the bar for happy hourspecials. Ask for Jonathan Patience, the manager. Charming fellow who runs a great restaurant. Tell him Leonard sent you. Read more

This restaurant was an unexpected surprise! We had never been here and were misled by the website referring to it as a... "gastropub". Normally that would be a turnoff, but we were at Segerstrom and looking for a good place to eat after the concert. This is in the new Mariott hotel on the east side of the Concert Hall. The parking and service was outstanding! A greatimpression starting with the reception desk. A young lady whose name escapes me, but she's a small brunette and studying to bea pilot. Our main server was Mitch, who was very personable and helpful with the menu. He's a real gem. Our main entree wasthe short ribs on polenta that was amazingly tender and delicious. A nice alternative to the restaurants on Bristol. We'lldefinitely be back! Read more
