Bemo's! A good time all around started with a solid IPA followed by the most incredible starter I've had with the fried... mushrooms. These are not your typical fried mushrooms though, you know, the ones where you eagerly bite into and just burn yourmouth on mushroom juice. These are delicate, filled with spinach and artichoke and out of this world!!!!! Also had the shrimptacos for my meal which rocked my socks Read more

We come to BMO‘s when we visit family in St. Louis pretty regularly. We have never had a bad experience with the service or... the food. The atmosphere is great if not a little loud at times in the upper room. Our meals were exceptional. I had the Cajunshrimp pasta. The flavor is just popping. The shrimp were firm without being tough, the sauce is just the right thicknesswithout being too runny. My wife had The prime rib sandwich which was simply amazing. Read more

I’ll start by saying we eat out a lot. Way more than we should. Because of that we can easily spot a well run restaurant. The... staff and servers stay here. We never have to wait for a table and the one server who is willing to work like many restaurantsthat I feel are on their way out. Bemos is like the restaurants I remember from years ago where the staff is well taken care ofand happy. No server turn over and bad attitudes. The food and drinks are constantly good. Restrooms are clean and the ownersare seen and on top of things. Something you don’t see much of anymore. Read more

My sister and I live on the north side of St. Charles and decided to check out the other side of town tonight with our "adopted"... big sister. She suggested Bemo's and we were not disappointed in the least!!! The service was fantastic, friendly, and veryfast. The food is absolutely to die for! (None of us are particularly small women, yet not especially big either, but I wouldsincerely suggest the half order if you choose a pasta dish). They're very rich. The two of us who did that still needed abox. Next, came the best treat of the night. We were completely surprised with a live band, who I later learned is not aregular on the schedule, but totally should be! It was Scott Latham and Karl Holmes. Absolutely phenomenal!!! Scott tickled theivory's like no other I've heard in MANY years, and Karl sang songs by Louis Armstrong, The Temptations (all 5 voices byhimself), Prince, and many others and sounded exactly like the original artists!!! Next time I know this amazing duo will be atBemo's we will be back with several more people!!! Read more

Heard such great reviews about this place. Had lunch with a friend there and I ordered the Cobb salad . Wasn't impressed at all.... Very small size salad for the $20.00 cost. Supposedly had hard boiled egg but I didn't see any in the salad. Didn't come withany crackers or bread and butter either. Our waitress was very pleasant and on top of it though. Read more

Being one of the few, but higher end real restaurants in Cottleville, this place does not disappoint. My personal favorite is... the Buffalo chicken dip which is always great. They also have some of the best rum and cokes around with a bartending staff thatis second to none. The outdoor seating is also wonderful on kind weather days for you to sit and enjoy the experience with yourfamily. The internal atmosphere is nothing to scoff at as well. I recommend it to anyone unfamiliar with the area whose lookingto get a good meal. Read more

Tonight was my second visit to this restaurant. Both times were pretty good, although as you can see from the picture this stuff... is GREASY. We could definitely tone down the grease levels in here for sure. Grease aside, everything was very flavorful, greatuse of garlic and savory flavors. As you see in the photos I have the Cajun style shrimp and grits, a classic favorite that Ialways love. This place does it well! Flavors were comforting and had that good, down-to-earth comfort food feeling. This dishdid not come with a side but I got the Brussels sprouts, which were a delightful addition. My companion and I also hadPortabella mushrooms for an appetizer, which I did not get a picture of. They were very delicious, a very unique and differentkind of appetizer you wouldn’t normally see around town. Topped it off with a pomegranate martini which was a lot more basic(flavor-wise) than I was expecting, and I definitely missed a garnish on it! Would’ve been really beautiful with perhaps alemon twist. Anything, really. Due to the greasy nature of the food I will have to give only four stars for now, howevereverything else was very good and I would not count out at third visit to this place. Read more
