Good food and beer! Staff isn't the best, when I went for lunch I had to get the servers attention multiple times and when I... ordered delivery for dinner, my order wasn't delivered bc it was forgotten. The staff member was pretty rude on the phone when Icalled about it but I was able to pick up the order and the staff apologized for the issue. I would go back but I would love forthe staff to be a little more attentive and nice. Read more
The lone fir is a little cafe in Cougar WA that in the winter is the last stop before snow closure for the season. Lunch with... my wife and mother in-law was perfect. Very clean, fantastic service, and highly recommend this little location when it’sopen, as they also operate an RV park with about 50 sites. Read more

After a day of spelunking Ape Cave, my mom and I stopped in for a snack and a milkshake. The service was very quick and... friendly, had us seated wherever we pleased. I got the cheese curds with jalapeno ranch, and the Crazy Ape burger (it was onlyappropriate!) The burger was fantastic, with a soft bun and perfectly cooked patty. Jalapenos gave it a delicious kick. Thehuckleberry milkshake was light and refreshing. Absolutely recommend stopping here for a bite if you're passing through. Read more
LOVED this place! We plan on going back for any trip we take in the area again. It was very cool inside on the 100 degree day... last weekend. The atmosphere is like a mountain town diner and the server was delightfully friendly. I see people havecomplained about the prices but they seem comparable to the city, especially for the good quality. I could drink a gallon ofthe huckleberry lemonade if I had the time. Great balance of sweet and sour. The buffalo chicken sandwich was delicious with aperfect crisp on the outside and juicy chicken on the inside. Could use a little bit more sauce but since my stomach didn'tcomplain the rest of the day, I would say they knew what they were doing. The fries had a good crisp as well and didn't getsoggy. The jalapeno burger was my favorite of everything. It was heavy in a good way but maybe not before a hike. The char on itwas just right and mixed well with the jalapenos and thick melted cheddar cheese, that's exactly how I would've done it. Veryhappy with this place. Read more
Adorable cafe found in Cougar, WA. Their food was great and the staff was so super friendly. We had such a good experience and... they had a car show going on the day we stopped by! Super fun. Also, located at a great camping/cabin/rv spot. I would mostdefinitely recommend to others!! Read more
Very fun place, pretty good service, outside dining under cover was great. Huckleberry lemon fizz cocktail was very nice. The... burgers!! Soooo good. The pizza was ok, staff said it was thin crust and cheesy but it was thick crust and not so cheesy somostly bread. The grilled cheese sandwich was really really good. Melty cheese with fresh tomato, sourdough bread had aparmesan crust. Huckleberry vanilla swirl cone was ok. I expected much more of a Huckleberry flavor. Maybe once thehuckleberries are ripe, there will be more huckleberry. The wait staff seemed a little annoyed, maybe they just had an off dayor were coming off a busy rush or were short-handed. They were nice, though, and attentive. We will be back soon to haveburgers and huckleberry shakes. Perfect meal after a hike through the Ape caves. Read more
