First time eating here and I probably will not be back. We were seated in a booth and had to wait almost 30 minutes before... ordering. There were not many guests here I think the waitress was being lazy. There was old food all over the floor includinghalf eaten chicken wings. I made sure to take a picture of the filthy floors to share with my friends. My burger was very drybut my wife?s was very tasty. Cheese curds are $11 for only a handful and we got charged $1.50 for ranch cups to go with thecurds. Read more
Our waiter was awesome tonight! I order the Buffalo wing salad! I asked if they would not put the blue cheese instead put... Parmesan cheese! He said no problem! My husband had two requests wings with sauce on the side, and he wanted hamburger and onionpizza! Also no problem! Our food came out perfect! Feral went above and beyond tonight! Charbuff Wings for the win!! We were in town for the Van Gogh exhibit and were looking for restaurants in the area, we decided... to try Big Kel?s. I had the Charbuff wings and my wife had the Cesar Salad with Chicken. First off the wings were the best I?veever had, the Charbuff process adds a whole new level of flavor. The chicken on the Cesar is not the already cooked (with thefake grill marks) that you normally see, this loooed and tasted like fresh broasted chicken off the bone, it was delicious. Ourserver, Auree was outstanding!! Very attentive, friendly and informative. Her expo skills are top notch. At one point sheinformed us that my wings were taking a bit longer and the salad was ready, but it, as salads do, started to look not as freshas she would like, so she asked to have the salad remade before it ever left the kitchen. I was excited to finally get to try this place. I've been seeing their ads and photos online since they opened. But immediately... upon our arrival Tuesday night things went downhill. I don't recall ever having a hostess this grumpy and rude. I truly feltlike I was inconveniencing her by showing up to eat. And it wasn't even busy, there were only 2 tables of customers and a fewpeople at the bar when we got there. Our server on the other hand was great. She was friendly, got our order correct, andchecked up on us. We ordered a pizza and some wings, after all, it is in the name. The Thai peanut charbuffed wings were great!Loved the flavor and the amount of sauce on the wings. My only criticism is that th÷re was no jams/preserves to dip them in. Aspicy Raspberry dip or something along those lines would have made great wings amazing. I ended up getting a side of the sweetchili sauce to use as a dip, and that was acceptable. The pizza on the other hand was not that impressive to me. We got theBlanco pizza and added the chicken as the menu recommended. It ended up being pretty dry, and the crust was an odd mix - it wasrelatively thick but the bottom was crispy. I also felt the sauce and toppings didn't go far enough to the edge - you can seehow much crust there was in the photo. It is a great looking space, friendly server, nice bar, pool table, arcade, and lots ofseating. I look forward to another visit and trying some.other menu items. Read more
Food is okay but waaaaaaaay over priced. Fries are a "premium" side and cost extra. They weren't anything special and you only... get about 8 of them. The meal in this picture was $18 (not including the drink or tip) I won't be back with these prices. Read more
The wife and I decided to try Big Kel?s on a whim tonight and are glad we did. The space is pretty big and very clean and... modern. It was pretty empty but that seems not unusual for early on a Monday evening. She got the margherita pizza and I got thesombrero burger. Got were super tasty! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive despite also having to take care of a bigparty that came in the middle of our meal. She was very communicative about that and made sure we were set for a while as well.We will be back! Read more
large portions. Decent meatballs (spicy). salad was bagged lettuce, possibly homemade croutons, & basic italian dressing. ... Italian beef was lackluster. Dry sliced beef with no cheese on a buttered bun. Au jus was salty but i enjoy it that way. Hotgardienara was sautéed veg & a rather spicy seasoning. Not the best, not the worst. Like i said, if you like large portionswith a lower quality, this is a decent place. Read more
