The staff was extremely friendly and very nice. Our waitress was patient when we couldn't decide on what we wanted. The inside... felt like grandma house with old photos and knick-knacks on the shelves. The tables were clean and food was pretty good. Iwould recommend if you are wanting something less crowded and breakfast in the afternoon like we wanted. Read more

Love this place! Very small town, homey feel. Ordered one biscuit with sausage gravy and one egg, I got two biscuits with... sausage gravy and two eggs all for five bucks. It was super good, I love supporting small businesses. The portions are huge forthe low price, but that does not affect the quality. I don't come to Iowa often but I'm glad I came to Main street cafe forbreakfast. ???? Read more

This Cafe is open on Sunday from 8:00 until noon. I walked eight blocks to get there, I tried to enter in a person met me at the... door and told me they were done for the day at 11:00 a.m. . Even though I am a blind person and walked almost a mile to enjoytheir food, they turn me away. People who take their business seriously just don't do that. How unfortunate Read more
