The last time we came we were put on a waiting list by one waitress, then another waitress came and grabbed two groups of people... behind us. We left. Then today we got seated, waiting for our food, we watched 15 people walk out (three different groups)because there was no hostess to help them. The manager was back in the kitchen. Not sure what he was doing. This is really sad. Read more
I would like a total refund. I ordered my food at 11 said it would be ready by11:14!! My husband went to get it. And he had to... wait 45 mins to get our food. When he got it home my ham was ice cold. And I never got out ham and cheese omelette. But we paidfor it!! Not very happy with the food quality and would like a full refund!! Tried calling to talk to a manager and all it didwas ring. Nobody picked up all three times I called!! Read more
Pros- For a made to order type family restaurant franchise, it's pretty decent. The meals I've had were fresh and hot and tasted... satisfactory. Cons- The coffee isn't great, especially considering they charge about $4 for it. 4 stars if they changed tobetter quality coffee. Read more
We decided to go into Village Inn for some hot and fresh food, as soon as we walked into the building it smelled very nice and... it was clean. By the time we got to the front counter someone quickly showed us to our seat. We decided to start at a three starreview so far because it was very clean and nice, we bumped it up to a four star review after our food came under 20 minutes. Food was terrible, smaller portions than usual. French toast was way over done that I couldn't hardly cut it. No manager was... walking around like normal. Waitress was terrible. Brought us empty ketchup bottle. Finally got a new one. Never offered to dodrink refills. The only time she came back was to give us check. I Then told her about my French toast and all she said was OH. Then she kept repeating herself that we could pay her till we did. Hubby was still trying to eat. Never before have we walkedaway hungry, but today we did. That's how small the portions were. I tried to call and talk to a Manager, but I let it ring forover 3 minutes. No one answered. Temperature very warm in the restaurant and the employee's working in the kitchen had NO air conditioning at all and management... knew it. I felt so bad for them. Despite the atmosphere we received excellent customer service and the food was good. Shame onyou Village Inn management for making your employee's work in such conditions. Read more
First time eating here today, walking in it kind of reminded me of a Perkins. We were seated by one of the employees at the... front of the house. Our server Alina was super sweet, and did an excellent job taking care of us and handling our order, and Iwas not disappointed when she recommended the strawberry crepes. She had our drinks out to us very quickly, the coffee wasfresh and hot, she even took care to make sure she knew what flavor creamers to bring to the table. I ordered the strawberrycrepes, and my other half got the eggs benedict, and added cheese. The food tasted excellent, I will suggest however that ifyour food comes with any sauces, sweet or savory, to request your sides on a separate dish. I had strawberry sauce all over mybacon and potatoes, which was a bit off putting, but Alina was very quick to correct the issue, which I was very appreciativeof. Overall, It's a nice little place to grab breakfast. It is a bit expensive for what you get, but everywhere is getting moreexpensive. I would eat here again just because of the crepes. Plus, I would love to try their banana cream pie or silk pie. Read more
