Really nice and very tasty food , chicken platter love it .
I had lunch at The Halal Guys for the first time today, and was pleased with the food and service. The restaurant was clean, and... the menu was well-organized. I ordered the beef & chicken Gyro, a side of fries, and a 20 oz. drink. Total was just under $16,before tax, and if I had to do it all over again I'd skip the fries. They were OK but not worth $4 in my opinion. The Gyro wasgood, though a touch salty, and there was plenty of meat, lettuce, and tomatoes on it. The pita was tasty, and my server(Robert) was very friendly. He asked if I needed extra sauce or anything else after I had been eating for a bit, and overall Iwas happy with the food. I'd come back again, and would recommend it to anyone that finds themselves on LaGrange Road inCountryside! Read more
Got the gyros combo plate. Was ok. gyros meat was already chopped instead of still being on the spit so it was luke warm, they... also put a lot if sauce on it, didn't taste like tzatziki sauce. Read more
I had an amazing experience here! The food was great (highly recommend the Baklava Cheesecake!), but most of all the service was... great. The Halal Guys know what they're doing, and they do it quickly. The food is always fresh and tasty. They have the best gyros... in town, whether you like them with classic beef and lamb or chicken or even a combo on a pita or in a platter. Falafels areavailable as their own meal but I like to get them on the side with my gyro plate. My wife also likes getting their sides ofolives and hummus to use at home. If I want a quick lunch that is the healthiest and most delicious of any "fast food" joint,this is where I go. Read more
